Season 2:Episode 4: Caleb The Evil

Julie and Flynn went on about their business until after second period when Flynn came up to Julie with a smile on her face.
        
“Sooo…. Any news on the whole JUKE situation?” said FLynn. Julie couldn’t believe that Flynn had just said that. She seriously shipped them? I mean just a few days ago she was trying to get her and Nick together.        
        
“Please never say that again. And yes something did happen. Well yesterday whenI fell asleep on the phone he came in and put a blanket on me. I woke up and I may have sorta asked him to stay.” Julie said with her voice going squeaky at the end of her sentence. Flynn’s mouth dropped to the floor.
        
“Julie I never knew you were such a player!” said Flynn.
        
“Please please stop. I really like Luke and I don’t want to mess things up. Plus he may be coming back to life so we could be together. Luke, he gets me and the thought of losing him just…” Julie couldn’t put her thoughts into words.
        
Flynn stopped her, “ Hey it's okay I won’t say anything. But you need to tell him how you feel.” The bell rang and they went to class. But little did they know Carrie heard everything Julie and Flynn were talking about. Carrie did not want to admit that she did feel something at the performance at the Orpheum. Julie and her band were obviously  close and it was obvious to everyone that there was something happening between the guitar player and Julie. She wanted the band to fail so she needed to make sure it would fail. And Luke was the best way to make it fail.

Luke finally figured out what he wanted to say to Julie. He knew he needed to tell her as soon as possible. It was about time that Julie came home from school so he went back to the studio. Alex and Reggie were in the studio waiting for Luke to come back. Alex and Reggie really didn’t know how to tell him or go about it. They had just escaped Caleb and he was coming back for more. When Luke saw Reggie’s and Alex’s faces he knew something was wrong.
        
Alex was the first to speak up, “Luke, I really don’t know how to say this so here.” Alex handed Luke the card with the initials of the Hollywood Ghost Club. Luke froze. Again with Caleb. Him and the guys were coming back to life and they just got Julie back and now it was going to be over. Just about then Julie came home from school super angry. Everybody saw Julie and almost immediately forgot about Caleb.
        
Julie walked straight up to Alex and said, “Hey, can I use those.” point to his drum sticks in his back pocket. He gave her the sticks and then she went to the drums and started to wail on them. Everyone was super startled. When Julie was finished the guys really didn’t know what to say. Alex was the first to speak up but he was very hesitant about it.
        
“Hey.. um Julie, why were you just beating up my drums?” Julie got up and walked towards the couch and plopped down.
        
“Because today was the dance performance for me and Nick and when he was at school he was saying how he was super excited. But then when it came around to the dance he never showed up! And when I text him he said that it wasn’t even that important and I would just have to deal with it. Nick has never ever acted that way, and now because of him we got an F on the dance!” Once Julie finished she placed her face in her hands.
        
“What! Why would he do that?” said Reggie plopping right next to Julie.
        
“Cause he is a jerk. Is there any way you can make up the performance?” asked Luke.
        
Julie took her hands out of her face and said,” My teacher said if we make it up tomorrow she could at least give us a B but Nick said last week how he was going on a trip tomorrow with his family. So now I will have to just be stuck with an F.” The guys just thought for a moment trying to figure out what to do when Reggie came up with a great idea.
        
“Hey I know! What if you and Luke do the performance. I mean he did help with all the moves right? Plus you will get a good grade for your half of the dance and Nick will get taught a lesson!” Reggie said, smiling proud of his amazing idea. And because he was a total Juke shipper. He learned what a ship name was after spending way too much time on Julie's laptop.
        
Julie's face lit up, “Oh my god Reggie, you’re a genius! Luke, would you be up for it?”
        
Of course Luke wanted to help. I mean he would do anything for Julie. Maybe after the performance he could tell her about how he felt. Sing her his song.
        
“Yeah that sounds great!” said Luke, very eager for tomorrow.
        
“Thank you, thank you!” said Julie, running up to give Luke a hug. “Okay guys I gotta go do my homework. Again thank you guys.” Julie ran out of the studio and up to her bedroom. When she was gone they guys gave each other looks.
        
“I’m glad we were able to help Julie but we never got the chance to tell her about the card.” said Alex.
        
“Maybe… we don’t have to tell her. I mean we don't want her stressing out about nothing because that is all this could be right?” said Reggie hoping the guys would agree.
        
“We can’t lie to her. When I told her about Caleb the first time, she was hurt. Like really hurt. We can’t do that to her again.” said Luke.
        
“Okay… well how should we tell her.” said Alex. They didn’t really know.
It was a long night of homework but it was finally over. It was six pm and she was going to go downstairs to get something to eat but instead she fell asleep. She didn’t realise how tired she was.

When she was asleep she was dreaming of the guys. They were performing at the Orpheum with the crowd screaming and cheering. Suddenly they were gone. And so were the guys. And the whole room was pitch black. She screamed for the guys but she couldn’t see them. A purple light sparked for a second with the sound of the guys groaning in pain. She ran towards the light and they were laying on the floor dying with each jolt. Julie started to cry and sob seeing her friends dying. One by one they started to disappear. First Reggie and then Alex. Julie screamed their names through tears as they disappeared. It was only Luke left. She lunged towards him for a hug but he disappeared. She hit the floor and she cried. Suddenly before her was a man in a long dark purple coat with a black top hat.
        
“Julie.” He spoke in dark and cold words. Everything about him gave off evil.
        
“Caleb.” said Julie, sad and angry. She attempted to stand up but was thrown across the room but an energy blast from inside her. A jolt. Her entire body ached. She was barely able to sit up.
        
“Ah so you have heard of me. Good. I want your band. And you are keeping them away from me. Stay out of my way Julie Molina. Stay away.” And with that Caleb blew a kiss that filled the air with dark purple smoke.

Julie woke up screaming and crying. But the guys were there. Sitting beside her comforting her. She reached for Luke to give him a hug and sobbed into his shoulder. They were still there.
        
“Julie what’s wrong.” said Luke rubbing Julies back confused and worried about Julie.
        
Julie sat up and said quietly, “I had a nightmare and… you guys died, because of Caleb. He warned me to stay away. I am just glad it was all a dream”
The guys sat there quietly. “Julie…” said Reggie not knowing what to say to Julie. She had become like his little sister and the news that they had to deliver to her would not make things any better.

“Wait you guys, what are you doing in my room?” said Julie, now confused.
“We came up here because we need to tell you something.” said Alex. He was very nervous and scared but mostly sad having to deliver this news.

“We found this in the studio today. We thought it was yours… but… here just look at it.” said Reggie handing Julie the card.

Julie took the card not exactly sure of what she was looking at, “What does HGC mean?”

“The Hollywood Ghost Club, that's the place where Caleb wanted us to go to.” said Luke looking down at the floral pattern on Julie’s bed sheet.

Julie froze and a single tear fell from her eyes, “Wait, what! Caleb he… he isn’t done. So he is just going to keep coming back until you either join him or get destroyed.”

The guys froze, unable to reply.
“So my dream just might be my reality.” said Julie, wanting to cry too badly.
“Don’t say that Julie. We aren’t going anywhere we promise.” said Luke grabbing Julie’s hand and squeezing tightly. Every Time she touched Luke, chills went down Julie's spine.

“Wait Julie, you said Caleb was in your dream? He shouldn’t even know what you look like. I don’t think it was a coincidence that you dreamt of that. I think he put the dream into your head.” said Alex.

“Guys I’m really tired. Will you guys stay here, you know, just in case.” asked Julie. The guys agreed. Alex grabbed some pillows and layed down on the floor next to Julie’s bed, Reggie grabbed Julie’s laptop and started to do some searches because he knew he wouldn’t be able to sleep, and Luke laid down next to Julie making sure she felt safe. And she did.

Julie couldn’t imagine having better friends and she was not going to lose them.

Who here hates Caleb but love Cheyenne? I know that this chapter was  shorter than usually but I hoped you guys liked it.
