Chapter 1: A New Journey
“(Y/N)!” your mom shouted from downstairs. “(Y/N)! Get down here now! Your going to be late for your flight!” she screams. Your in your room packing the last of your things, making sure you haven’t forgotten anything. It’s been 5 years, 5 years since you’ve been waiting for this moment. Your finally doing it, after all those years of working hard to get good grades to satisfy your parents, after all those long night shifts at the cafe. Your finally doing it. Your going to LA. You made sure that you left none of your 1D posters/merchandise behind, since the beginning you’ve always supported them through all the dramas, heartbreaks, sweat and tears. They were your world, you couldn’t imagine life without them. Yet you felt bad for them. Sure they lived the high life. Luxury cars, hotels, parties but you felt bad for them because they had no private life. Everything they did or said, it would be tomorrow’s headline gossip news. In a way your life and their lives were actually quite the same. Both your parents loved you so much that they would sometimes go over-board. They were too over protective. They didn’t allow you to go out with your friends alone, well that wasn’t until your 15th birthday that you finally convinced them that your could take care of yourself. That’s why getting them to agree that moving away for the summer was a good idea. But you managed to convince them with the help of your aunt of course.
“(Y/N)! Come on your dad is waiting!” Once you made sure you didn’t leave anything behind you brought both your luggage bags down. You were wearing a grey sweater top, black skinny jeans, white flats (you didn’t like to wear high heels all the time), a white beanie and accessories: a black handbag with all the things you need on the flight (lip gloss, phone, passports, flight tickets, magazines) and a pair of ray bans, you had your hair plaited in two braids (http://cdn02.cdn.justjared.com/wp-content/uploads/headlines/2007/09/vanessa-hudgens-beverly-hills-hotel.jpg)
The moment you reached the last step on the stairs your mother embraced you i a huge bear hug. “Mom!Your-suffocating-me” you say in between breaths. “I’m just going to miss you” she says burying herself in your neck. You smile and pat her on the back. “I’m going to miss you too”. Once she finally let go of you she went into the living room and brought back a wrapped present. “This is for you” she said with a big smile on her face. Just then your dad came in and put his hands on your mom’s shoulders. Both of them smiling at you, you open the present hastily. You gasp. It was the necklace you’ve seen your mother wearing for a long time, you always tried it on when you were younger. You admired it because of the little charms it had on it. “Each charm represents a place that i’ve been to..it helps me remember all the wonderful times i had there, now it’s yours” my mother says as she helps me put the necklace on. “Maybe when you go to LA you can buy a charm and add it on” she says, her eyes beginning to tear up. You give her a hug and you dad joins you. “It’s time to go” you dad says as he kisses you and your mom on the forehead. Your dad takes your luggage to the car, you and your mom walk out to the front porch. “I just wish you didn’t have to bring all those posters along” your mom says. “Mom, you know i can’t live without them, they’ve gotten me through alot they’re-” “Your life i know, i know” your mom finishes the sentence. That’s one of the things your going to miss about her, the way she always supports you no matter what you choose” Your dad drives the car out of the driveway, you kiss your mom goodbye for the last time and you get into the front seat of the car. Your wave goodbye until you can’t see your house anymore, you and your dad drives by a sign which says “Airport 10m away”. This is it, you say to yourself. I’m going to LA. (:
