*Libby's POV*
So basically, my friends, Claire, Toby, Claire, and Jim were at his house because we were gonna watch a movie! A zombie horror movie that just came out about a day ago and we were all pretty excited about it. Jim's mother was still at work, and since she's a doctor she'd be back much later at night, so the living room was free.
Jim was getting the snacks from the kitchen, getting the popcorn, Saraline helped to bring the beverages to the coffee table in the living room, I brought boba tea for everyone so they all had that.
After everyone sat down on the couch, all huddled in close, Toby starts the movie, the lights were off now.
"I've been dreaming of watching this movie for as long as I can remember!" Toby said with excitement.
"Um, you mean since this morning..?" Jim asks, looking at his friend in confusion.
"Uh.. yeah.. Like I said," replied Toby.
"Ooh, the movie's starting!" I say, pointing at the TV screen, where the others shushed each other to start the movie.
*No one's POV*
"Based on Actual Events.." Saraline reads the screen.
"Interesting," She says as she grabs some chips from the other bowl. The movie starts off very good, with a normal-looking plot, nothing ominous... Libby took a sip of her tapioca tea, while Toby munched on some popcorn, passing the bowl to Claire.
"PssSHH! THIS isn't scary!" Libby says shrugging in shock.
"Yeah.. this isn't horrifying at all.." Saraline agrees.
"Mhm.. yeah! I mean- It's just a nice family living on a farm in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors or police for miles," Jim shrugs, grabbing a small little handful of Claire's popcorn.
Everyone in the room had the same responses, agreeing with him.
"I don't see how this could go wrong!" Toby grins.
On the TV: IN A SOUTHERN ACCENT: I'm gonna go check out the basement to see if the furnace is still acting up.. *The man opens the door, hinges creaking*
The 5 teens watch with curiosity wondering what will happen next. Toby's attention is all on the doorknob on the door in the movie.
"Whoa! Look at that doorknob! That's a rare 1937 lock and slide with Amish movement!"
"SHHHHHHHH SHHH!" "Be quiet Tobes!" Everyone loudly shushed him.
"Alright sorry.. jeez.." He rolled his green eyes, munching on more popcorn while passing the bowl to Jim.
On the TV: Whoo-hoo! Sure is dark down here! *Then comes sudden growling, and the man screams, and the guts and glory start- y'know= x_x*
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" The whole group screams, Jim drops the bowl of popcorn in sudden fear, things being clattered to the ground, everyone huddled super close, hugging each other.
"IT WENT SO WRONG SO QUICKLY!" Jim yells.
"YE-HESSSS IT DIIIIDDDDD!!!" Libby wailed.
