Patton gasped as the computer read out the dare for him, too little to read it himself, and twiddled with his fingers. "B-But..." He trailed off to no one in particular before shaking his head and giving a determined nod. "Okay! I can do this!"

--

Patton sat on the ground, giggling as he built his third tower, intending to knock it over. All of his other towers laid demolished on the ground. He left them there purposely, having no intention of cleaning it up. Many other toys laid around as well, he had made a point to make the living room as messy as possible.

So it wasn't a surprise when Virgil walked in and blinked, shocked by the mess.

"Patton," He breaths out, frowning a little. "I think it's time you clean up your toys, it's nearly lunchtime."

Patton glanced up with his big, round innocent eyes and gave a sweet smile.

"No."

Virgil's eyebrow shot up, and his usual laid-back attitude shifted to a stern demeanor. "It wasn't a question."

"Is now."

"Patton," He scolds, crossing his arms. "C'mon, clean up your toys."

"No." He simply says, continuing to build his tower, ignoring the guilt eating his insides.

"Well, then I guess you just won't have any cookies after lunch," Virgil threatens, causing Patton to gasp and glance over, jutting out his bottom lip.

No cookies?! B-But I want cookies!

"I'll clean up my toys, m'pwease have cookies?" He asks, shooting him a pleading glance, that caused Virgil's expression to soften.

"Okay," He agrees. "But clean up your toys please and wash your hands. And next time please don't argue with me or you'll have a timeout. Understood?"

Patton whimpered at the sound of timeout. He didn't want to be a bad boy anymore. "Otay..."

Virgil nearly cooed.

Nearly.

"Come on, let's have lunch."

"Den cookies?"

"Then cookies."

Admittedly, Patton wasn't great at being a brat, he thrived to be a good boy for his caregivers. He had given up throughout the day but decided to try one more time went it came to bedtime, after all, he wasn't sleepy anyway!

Currently, he was watching frozen on his tablet. He has had a bath already, and a pair of kitten-themed pajamas hung off his body loosely. He nuzzled under his blankets, enjoying his movie. He knew it was growing close to bedtime but he didn't care, Olaf is far more important in his book.

In walked Virgil minutes later, holding a bottle of warm milk with a splash of vanilla, having warned Patton previously that bedtime was inevitable. He smirked at his position and flicked the lights on and off to grab his attention. Patton glanced over, as expected, and immediately shook his head, knowing that the sight of his bottle meant that it's bedtime.

"Nooo Veee! M'watcha fwozen," He squeaks out, attempting to move him with puppy dog eyes. "Ten more minutes?"

"Now Pat," Virgil begins, shaking the bottle a little. "It's bedtime, tablet off."

Pat pouted and went to comply when he remembered the dare he had received. Quickly, he exited out of the movie to record their voice instead. He shook his head at Virgil and crossed his arms, ready to be a brat for him. He had watched, and dealt with many of the other's tantrums before, how hard could it be?

Virgil raised a daring eyebrow at Patton and mimicked his gesture, crossing his arms as well. His stare sent a shiver up Patton's spine and he realized just how difficult this would be.

"Patton..." He warns.

And Patton promptly burst into tears.

---

The feed cuts to Virgil recording a sniffling Patton on his lap, cradling a bottle in his hands while Virgil gently rocked him. Virgil smirked into the camera.

"I have to say, I'll take 'bratty' Patton over a bratty Roman any day."

Patton sniffled once more and Virgil gently stroked at his hair. "You're not in trouble sunflower," He chuckles out, finding the situation amusing. He was quick to come clean about the dare and Virgil had spent the last twenty minutes assuring him that he is in fact a good boy. He finds it quite entertaining as Patton barely threw a tantrum and yet was in tears due to the guilt within seconds.

"Sowwy," He whimpers through the bottle for the millionth time, fisting at his eye.

"It's okay kid, let's get you to bed, wave goodbye."

Patton shyly waved his hand before turning, hiding away from the lens. Virgil hummed and leaned against the wall.

"Thanks for the dare TobyTortola."
