Patton giggled softly as he read over the dare, glancing at teen Virgil who smirked slightly.
"Does this mean I can curse?"
Patton sighed. He expected such question. "You are the boss."
"Sweet! Imma go curse in front Janus."
"Virgil-"

"Pat," Virgil says peeking his head into the kitchen. Patton glances over, finishing up the tacos he had made for lunch.
"Yeah kiddo?"
"I'm the boss today yeah?" He asks with a cheeky grin. Hesitantly, Patton nods, eyeing his kiddo.
"Within reason of course kiddo."
Virgil rolls his eyes playfully and emerges himself, and Patton noticed a skateboard in his hand. "Cool, I'm gonna go skateboarding alone-"
"After Lunch," Patton cuts him off, chuckling as Virgil's shoulders slumped.
"But Daaad-"
"After Lunch kiddo, then you go skateboard," Patton insists. He knew why he had chosen skateboarding for the day, Patton could be a bit protective of him so this was his day to run off independently, usually Patton insists on at least going with him. "Make sure to take your phone with you as well."
"Yeah, yeah, I know."

Virgil trudged into the living room, searching for Logan as he knee ached horribly, but flushed and froze as he found Patton on the couch instead. Patton looked over, and then glanced down at his leg, which was propped up slightly.
"Kiddo, are you okay?" Patton asks with a frown, standing up while Virgil huffed and rubbed at his neck.
"I'm fine-"
"Do I need to grab some bandages?"
Virgil bit the inside of his cheek before nodding.
"And ice?"
Virgil groaned lowly and limped over to the couch taking a seat before reluctantly nodding once more.
"Alright kiddo," Patton says, kissing his head as he passed by, chuckling softly at his flushed cheeks.
He may be the "boss" for the day, but he'll always be his kiddo.
