Vasu joined his hands and bowed respectfully, towards the seven new comer males, who were standing in a single horizontal file. He had turned into a normal human now, except for his scaly skin that reminded the seven friends about his true self. They were still awed and intrigued about the new comers, who looked in their early thirties, yet had an aura of being eons old. Whereas the new comers were looking at the seven teenagers with deep interest and huge smiles.
"Didn't I tell you all that my son is exceptional," said the male, who was standing next to the one exactly in the middle. He had a proud look on his face.
Aryan realized that the man, who spoke, was directly looking at him. Aryan blinked at that attention and blushed slightly, however he soon realized what the newcomer said and was confused to the core.
"How can I be your son? I have my parents, Paresh and Parthvi Mehta," Aryan said, with a frown.
"Firstly, all the children are exceptional in their own way, Devraj. And secondly, you all are our children, but not in a biological way, Aryan," said another male standing at the extreme right, in a silent yet authoritative demeanor. The male, named Devraj, frowned at that but kept mum.
"It would be better if you all would talk a bit more respectfully with them, if you don't want to be in their bad books," Vasu chided gently. The earlier arrogance in his tone had vanished, just like his serpent half and parental gentleness had replaced it. The seven friends were surprised at that and looked at Vasu with wide eyes, at which he just gave all of them a warm smile.
"Someone needs our attention here, we suppose," said two males standing at the extreme left, who looked the youngest among the newcomers.
