Vasu joined his hands and bowed respectfully, towards the seven new comer males, who were standing in a single horizontal file. He had turned into a normal human now, except for his scaly skin that reminded the seven friends about his true self. Whereas the new comers were looking at the seven teenagers with deep interest and huge smiles.

"It would be better if you all would talk a bit more respectfully with them, if you don't want to be in their bad books," Vasu chided gently. The earlier arrogance in his tone had vanished, just like his serpent half and parental gentleness had replaced it. The seven friends were surprised at that and looked at Vasu with wide eyes, at which he just gave all of them a warm smile.

"Someone needs our attention here, we suppose," said two males standing at the extreme left, who looked the youngest among the newcomers.
