"So what happened next?" Kimaya asked, urging the Gods to continue.

"Well, like Brahmadev said, we decided to merge our parts with seven human souls," Vayudev continued this time. "At that time, Shri Hari suggested that we should also ask our children from Dwapar Yug to instil their knowledge about Astras and Shaastras in the seven people we select. Also we were supposed to select seven people who would be born on the same day, the one out of the Sade Teen Muhurtas. Do you'll know that you guys were born on Vijaya Dashami??"

All the friends except Kimaya, nodded their heads in no. She had a blank face.

"So Kimaya, you knew that you all were born on Vijaya Dashami?" Vayudev asked again. She came out of her thoughts, at the mention of her name.

"Huh... sorry... I... I was... Did you say something?" she asked, looking around her blankly.

"Where were you lost, child?" Suryadev asked, gently.

"Nothing," Kimaya said, in a low tone. Daksh squeezed her hand, making her look at him. She just gave him a weak smile, at which he rolled his eyes.

"You may please continue, Vayudev," she said, ignoring the probing looks of her brother.

"Well, that's it actually. You seven were the only ones to be born on the day of Vijaya Dashami, in the entire world. Hence we merged our parts with you all, along with some part of Pandavas, Karn and Duryodhan," Vayudev said, completing the narrative.

"Duryodhan?" Nimit asked, in a confused tone.

"According to some versions of Mahabharata, Duryodhan is considered the incarnation of Lord Kali," Sachit said, clearing the confusion of his twin. Others in the group except Yuhan and Kimaya had an 'O' look on their faces.

"So who among us has the parts of Duryodhan and Lord Kali?" Daksh asked, turning to look at the Gods.

"Of course you, Daksh," Kimaya said, in a matter of fact tone. Some thoughts were forming in her mind, which didn't seem pleasant.

"And how do you know?" Daksh said, turning his eyes to his twin sister. He blinked rapidly when she trained her cold eyes on him, giving him her full attention.

"It's simple, Daksh. We all have our names, that match with those of Pandavas, Karn and Duryodhan. Also the unnatural circumstances in which we were born, give us an idea about our spiritual parentage," she said, without missing a beat.

"So that means, I have a part of Yudhisthir and Yamraj," Yuhan said, taking the cue, "For Bali, it is Bheem and Vayudev, for Aryan, it's Arjun and Indradev, and for Nimit and Sachit, it's the Ashwin Kumaras. As for you, Kimiya... you have a part of Radheya Karn and Suryadev. In short, all seven of us are demigods, isn't it?"

He asked the last part, looking at the Gods, who nodded their heads in affirmation. Silence spread among all of them, as the friends tried to digest the fact.

"Papa knew about this, didn't he?" Kimaya asked after a while, her eyes starring the muddy floor of the forest. Daksh's head snapped towards her and his eyes widened, as he caught up with the line of thoughts that she had been following for a while.

"He was a brave human, Kimaya. The one who can stand up against Asur Mata, is more than brave. Don't let his sacrifice go waste," Suryadev said, quietly.

"Does... does our Mamu... know about this?" Daksh asked, with a sliver of fear in his voice. He didn't want to endanger his only family member with this secret of theirs.
