Freedom- part 5 (fem!)

Your eyes fluttered open. At first you couldn't see anything because of the bright light of the infirmary. But when your eyes finally adjusted you noticed Percy sitting in a chair next to you. He was just staring into space while holding your hand lovingly in his.

When he noticed you awake he squeezed your hand.

"We've really got to stop meeting like this." He joked while you chuckled lightly.

"You found me." You smiled weakly.

"I was searching for you. I thought I did something wrong I wanted to apologize. That's when I heard you scream."

"You did nothing wrong. I just didn't feel so good."

"Are you still in pain?" He looked worried.

"Well I feel like someone stole my stomach dumped it in freezing water, microwaved it and then gave it to me to swallow."

"That does not sound fun."

"No it's not." I laughed half heartedly.

"Who did this to you? Who do I need to kill?"

You wanted to just yell 'Annabeth' but you realized how that would just crush Percy. You didn't want to hurt him too.

"I don't know. It was some person from Masters army. He tried to kidnap me but when I tried to fight back he threw my prism on the ground and decided to kill me instead." It was an easy lie but believable.

"Oh yeah your prism. I'm sorry about that. Was it important?"

"It was the last thing my father gave me before I was taken. The last memory I have of him."

"I can't imagine what you went through all those years. I'm so sorry I didn't free you sooner."

"Alright enough apologizing. I'm hungry." You got up out of bed. Ignoring the protests from your own body and Percy.

You walked to the dining pavilion. It wasn't time to eat yet but that didn't matter. You wanted food.

"Y/N. It's good to see you well but you shouldn't be walking around." Chiron galloped over to them.

"I'm fine Chiron. Seriously, stop worrying so much."

"Your limping and wincing in pain." He pointed out.

"See totally fine. You know how fine I am? I'm so fine that I'm sure I could climb the lava wall in record time!"

"Woah, woah, woah. Look I know you are used to pain but you should really take it slow. Let's just start with walking." Percy said.

"You're no fun." You looked around. You noticed Annabeth watching you from the sidelines. Percy didn't seem to notice her yet.

"I'll be back soon. I just want to... walk around." You walked off leaving Percy really confused.

You shut the door to the Athena cabin. It was just you and Annabeth.

"If you want to try to kill me again. Here I am. Now's your chance. But if you do. I will scream and you will be found out."

"You didn't tell on me." She looked shocked. "He doesn't know yet."

"Oh believe me I wanted to. But I knew how much it would hurt him to know what his girlfriend had done."

"I'm sorry for what I did to you. I was jealous. Percy was spending more and more time with you and not me. I thought you would take him away from me. And at first I didn't really think you and Percy needed each other. But now I know otherwise. And I'm sorry."

"I want to believe you. But I don't." You turned and left the Athena cabin.

You talked to a couple more people. Connor being the first. He had a girlfriend now. Which was a relief because you would hate to break his heart and tell him you weren't interested.

Finally it was dinner. You had stuffed yourself during lunch but you were starving again.

You sat with the other Iris children. The head counselor was a teenage boy named Butch. Most of the Iris children were very bubbly and talkative. Loved to gossip and annoy people by changing the color of their cloths. They did that to Nico once and it was a total disaster. (I actually wrote this short story about that. It's honestly trash but I might post it in here.)

It turns out you were a unnaturally powerful daughter of Iris. Which is probably why master kept you.

"Hey." You turned around to see Percy standing behind you.

"Sup Percy." You munched on a F/F. It tasted like Elysium. That's how good it was.

"So... I was wondering... would you maybe come with me after dinner? I want to show you something."

"Sure." Why was he so worried? You had no idea.

When dinner came to an end you followed Percy through the forest. He led you to a clearing were the hill rolled down towards the beach and ocean. The sun was setting and it was casting a magnificent reflection of rainbow on the rest of the water.

You gasped. "It's beautiful." Suddenly a powerful force tackled you from behind and you fell rolling down the hill with Percy Jackson.

When you got to the bottom you stopped rolling with Percy on top of you. The sun set reflected in his mischievous eyes as well as he smiled at you.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked politely.

"But Annabeth?"

"She told me what happened. I broke up with her. But that's not the only reason. I started having feelings for someone else. Someone beautiful." You blushed at his compliment.

"Then yes. You may kiss me Mr. Jackson."

He leant down and closed your eyes. His warm lips pressed against yours and you felt like fireworks were going off in your stomach. It felt right. You kissed him back before he pulled away and stood up before helping you up as well.

"I have something for you." He fished around in his pocket.

"Percy, we just kissed for the first time. You can't propose to me already."

"No, it's not that." He pulled out something clear and rectangle shaped. A new prism. "I know it will never replace the one your Dad gave you. Not even close but I want you to have it."

You smiled and kissed him again shortly. "I love it Percy."

He then went over to a box he already had sitting there. He pressed a button and some slow dance music started playing. You placed the prism in your pocket knowing what will happen next.

"May I have this dance, m'lady?" He bowed while stretching one arm out forwards.

You giggled. "You may."

He wrapped his arms around your waist. And you rested your head on his shoulder.

"Don't worry darling. I've got you. Your safe now." You stepped on his foot. "Ow! Do you know how to dance?"

"Nope!"

Alright so originally I wanted to add more to this but I realized how long it was getting so I'm going to shorten it to this much. I hoped you enjoyed this because this won't be the last you see of Percy.
