~Mal's POV~

Once upon a time. Long, long ago. Well, more like 20 years ago. Belle married her beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake.

Yeah, instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks, basically all the interesting people, and he booted them off to the Isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood, no magic, no Wi-Fi, no way out. Or so we thought…hang on, you’re about to meet us, but first, this happened.

A young man: Prince Ben of Auradon, was staring off to the island from the castle window as Lumiere continued adjusting stuff and grabbing measurements for the near-coming coronation. That is when King Adam and Belle walked in. “How is it possible that you’re going to be crowned king next month?”

“He’s turning 16, dear”. Belle answered.

“16? That’s far too young to be crowned king. I didn’t make a good decision until I was at least 42.”

Ben looked over to his parents. He meant to tell them sooner about his plan to bring children from the island over, but something had always gotten in the way. Now he decided it was the best time as any to tell them his plan. “Mom, Dad. I have decided to give the people on the Isle a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they’ve been abandoned. We’ll start with a few at first, only those who need our help the most. I’ve already chosen them.”

“Have you?” Adam asked in a muttered tone.

“I gave you a second chance. “Belle paused, turning to face her son. “Who are their parents?”

“Cruella De Vil. Jafar. Evil Queen. And Maleficent. Now, dad, just hear me out. Their children are innocent. Don’t you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?” Ben paused for a moment, but Adam didn’t answer. “Dad?”

Adam sighed heavily. “I suppose their children are innocent.” Adam sulked away, and Belle followed, smiling at her son before walking out too.

~Millie's POV~

Meanwhile, the core 5 were up to mischief on the Isle, aka my sister, friends, and I. Today it just happened to start with a bit of song as we continued running through the streets. “They say I’m trouble. They say I’m bad.” Mal began to jump in with, “They say I’m evil, and that makes me glad.”

“A dirty no good. Down to the bone. Your worst nightmare Can’t take me home.” Jay hollered, sliding down a pole before running to catch up with Mal and me.

Evie ran on top of a building, beginning to throw a scarf around, then jumping down, she sang. “So, I got some mischief in my blood. Can you blame me? I never got any love.”

“They think I’m callous. A low-life hood. I feel so useless, so misunderstood.” The youngest one(Carlos)chimed in.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the baddest of them all? Welcome to my wicked world, wicked world! I’m rotten to the core, core! Rotten to the core. I’m rotten to the core, core! Who could ask for more? I’m nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door. I’m rotten to the; I’m rotten to the. I’m rotten to the core.” Evie and Mal chanted.

“Call me a schemer. Call me a freak. How can you say that? I’m just unique.” Mal said, spray painting a dark plum purple on a set of hanging sheets.

“What, me a traitor? Ain’t got your back? Are we not friends? What’s up with that?” Jay responded by jumping off a roof into a nearby building. Soon Carlos pulled in with a cart, and with a running start, Jay leaped in beside him.

“So I’m a misfit. So I’m a flirt. I broke your heart. I made you hurt.” Evie laughed playfully.

“The past is past. Forgive, forget. The truth is..” Carlos murmured before the rest of us jumped in.
