~Evie’s POV~
Our happy moment came to an end real quick-like when Maleficent appeared out of a puff of purple smoke. She began to chuckle; before exclaiming at the top of her lungs.” I’m back.”

I watched as Millie and Mal shared a look before glaring back at their mother. “It can’t be,” Millie muttered under her breath.

“Go away, mother.” Mal groaned, irritatedly following her sister’s response.

Maleficent laughed again.” Wow. You’re so funny! You, you’re hilarious. Now let’s stop fooling around. Here. Wand me. Chop. Chop.” She muttered to Millie now.

Millie looked for where FG stood, throwing it to her.” Fairy Godmother heads up!”

Fairy Godmother caught it in mid-air. Though as she began to flash her wand, Maleficent waved her scepter, freezing all the AK’s in their place. She went on,” Boo. Psych.Ooh.Ooh. Evil like me, don’t you wanna be mean..Ow! Now, where shall we begin?”

She paused before noticing the ring on Millie’s finger. “I know. Why don’t we start with getting rid of this?”

Maleficent waved her scepter again; Mal tried to stop it from slipping off Millie’s finger but was too late, as it now had flown through the air and landed dead center of Maleficent’s scepter. “Perfect fit! Aw..falling in love is weak and ridiculous. And here we are; love has taken both of my daughters from the mission. It’s not what you want.”

“It beats being like you,” Mal whispered quietly under her breath as I wrapped my arm tightly around her waist in comfort.

Meanwhile, Millie spat out in anger. “You don’t know that! Mom, have you ever once asked me what I want? Huh, or how about Mal? Have you bothered to ask what she wants? I’ll answer that for you, no. Mom, brace it. No matter how hard you deny it, no matter how hard you push your evil ways down our throats, we aren’t you!”

“Well, obviously. I’ve had years and years and many years of practice being evil. You’ll get there.” Maleficent insisted.

“No! No, we will not!” Mal yelled, in an attempt to help her sister out against their mother’s cold-hearted bitterness commentary.” And to be quite honest, I really wish you had never gotten there yourself. Love is not weak or ridiculous. It’s actually really amazing.” She gripped my hand with her left arm, and Millie’s now with her right. She was smiling harder and more confidently than I had ever seen her before.

Maleficent began to fume at the duo. “I know one thing, young ladies. There is no room for love in your life. And just wait until Queen finds out what her sweet little Evie was up to. Love with my daughter puh please.”

I was ready to run up there and slap her hard, but Jay held me back. “And now I command the wand to my hand!” Millie exclaimed, and with that, the wand went from Maleficent’s grasp and landed in Millie’s outstretched hand.

“Way to go. It worked. Ha!!” Carlos exclaimed, giving a high five to Jay and me as we stepped further back from the three.

“I hardly think so,” Maleficent said, rolling her eyes. “Frankly, it’s time for the two of you to grow up already and stop acting like that weak human father of yours! This is tedious and very immature. Give me the wand. Give it to me now, Millie!”
