The sun shined through the opened window, the warm air blowing inside of the small ever so slightly cramped room to Pico's small treehouse. Keith and him sitting in front of the small book shelf that was left abandoned when he first stepped foot inside of the treehouse when he first spot it's existence.
What was left was the bed he now rested on each night with it's desk, and the small stool he used to pay respect for his fathers passing's he took with him while running away. He's kept those photos close to him his entire life. Taking the scrap book too Steve made with Cap when he was just a toddler.
It hurt touching that book due to the past memories he knew he wouldn't be able to experience ever again. But, he didn't wish to leave the book behind to rot. He knew how much time and dedication his fathers took on that small book of photos.. It would hurt him to leave it behind as if it was nothing to his mind.
But, so many odd books have been left in the home of his too where the shelf was. Them all being terribly dusty but, that didn't stop Ketih's curious mind to look at them no matter how many times he has sneezed during their conversations where he's rambled on about things he quite didn't understand. But, followed along with them as it warmed his heart to hear what was on his mind.
The childish angel grabbed a book to another, Pico on the other hand hugging his knees as he'd admire over him grabbing all of the books off of the shelf as it wasn't necessary but, the ginger didn't stop him.
''You done making a mess?'' Pico questioned as the angel grabbed the last book from the shelf. as dust particles blew between the air close to them as the sun helped him see the flying dust as it now was giving him allergies.
''Yep!'' Keith said in joy as he'd eye down at the books that rested messily on top of one another. Seeming as Keith didn't plan out why he took them all out as his needs told him so from the looks of his blank expression..
''Somebody looks lost.'' Teased the ginger as the angel snapped,
''Oh quiet, come on and read with me!''
Keith soon eyed down at the books, not reading any of it's titles as he'd pick up one as he'd shove it towards his direction. Causing Pico to quit hugging his legs as he'd hold the book in confusion. Crossing his legs to sit in a more comfortable position as the book was close to his chest.
''I never said I was going to read-'' Pico mumbled. But, carried on as he followed with what Keith wanted the most.
He never was the one to really agree to thinks. He was such a stubborn kid even with his own fathers. But, when it came to Keith it was a whole other story to begin with.
Ever since they found that small house deep in the forest, Keith always begs and whines on going there again. Calling it their ''hide out place'' for now on even if it's so far away. But, he always agreed. Never once disagreeing on going. If he had to be honest, he loved having long walks with Keith..
Yeah, he was silent half of the time as he didn't know what to say very often. It being a struggle to really ever show emotion or just to say a simple sentence as if something was blocking him off.
Sometimes he just wouldn't respond for hours, yet Keith still went on with his confusing topics as he deeply listened into them. Sometimes he'd ramble on about facts from the angel world, or how the world sometimes was so dumb. Which, he could agree on. It truly was.
The world is filled with so many awful things, yet we still live with those same people who cause harmful things. Keith would just ramble on and on about sickening situations and how the world should just be a kinder place.
