Chapter 1-Step Up Academy

It all started with a April Fools Prank gone wrong.It was supposed to be a little fire that would scare the kids at lunch but than that little flame spread.It burned the whole school down.And me,the girl with the perfect record,the girl who always got straight A's,the good girl had gotten blamed for it all.

Which was why I was on a bus on my way to a school for bad boys and bad girls.Step Up Academy.I looked at my surroundings as the bus drove on and on.More and more nature was visible as the bus kept driving.The school was probably away from a city so that escaped students wouldn't hide anywhere.Seemed pretty smart to me.

I pushed my glasses up.I didn't belong there,I wasn't going to fit in.I imagined how the kids would look like at the school.All that came to mind was leather jackets and glares.I fumbled with the strap of my bag,anxiously.

Then the bus stopped in front of a prison-like school.It was made out of black bricks and there was a huge pointed gray fence outside of the school.Black rose bushes lined the entrance of the school.There was a stone entrance with a quote,the quote read.If you can't better your child,we can do it for you.I chuckled bitterly at the quote.

"Come on troublemaker"the bus driver grabbed my wrist and dragged me inside the school.The inside of the school was filled with carpets and I could see stairs."Who is this?"the women at the front counter asked with a dull look on her face."Quinn Foster"I answered."Your dorm room is 2G. Its on floor 2.Here is your schedule you start tomorrow."she handed me a key and some papers."Go up to your dorm,kid.I got some talking to do with the school's principal about you"the bus driver ordered me.I pushed up my glasses and grabbed my bag.I trudged up the stairs.

I walked past the dorms until I saw 2G.I put my key in and unlocked the door.As I entered the room,I saw a group of friends.They were all staring at me now which made me blush a bit.There were 2 girls.One was blonde with blue eyes and the other had dark brown hair with brown eyes.There were 3 guys.One had light brown hair with brown eyes,the other one had dark brown hair with hazel eyes and then there was a very attractive one.He had light brown hair,blue eyes,broad shoulders and pretty good cheekbones.

"Looks like Vincent has a roommate"the boy with light brown hair and brown eyes laughed as he said it."Well we should introduce ourselves"the blonde girl smiled sweetly towards me."I'm Blair Jhonson"she smiled."I'm Maddie Morris"the girl with dark brown hair smiled."I'm Sean Brooks"the guy with dark brown hair smirked."I'm Luke Kingsmith"the boy with light brown hair said."And i'm Vincent Rivera,your roommate"the very attractive one said with a wink.

"I'm Quinn Foster"I put my bag down and pushed up my glasses."So what got you here?"Maddie asked with a interested glint in her eyes."Got blamed for something I didn't do.I don't know if you can already tell but I'm not exactly the rule breaking type"I sighed."So you were a good girl.You know the type that had straight A's and a perfect record"Sean raised his eyebrows at me."Yeah,sounds like me"I laughed."Well here things are different.In Step Up Academy our one and only job is to piss off the teachers to their extremes"Blair laughed as she said it."Oh and you can drop the whole good girl thing cause here it doesn't matter,all that matters is that you live and break the rules here"Vincent smirked.

"How about Maddie and I give you a makeover before you start"Blair suggested."I-I don't know"I stuttered nervously."Pretty please,we wont screw up"Maddie did her puppy eyes."Fine,what have I got to lose anyway"I give in."Come on,I know how to get out of here easily"Blair grabbed my wrist and led me to some tunnels.Maddie followed.After a while of walking,Blair got her hands on a vent and busted it opened.She climbed out.I climbed out and then Maddie climbed out too."Now run.They have lights watching out for any runners like us"Maddie whispered in my ear.

In sync we all ran.I should have tried something like this a long time ago.It was amazing.Just running away like this felt incredible.We ran all the way to a cabin."This is a cabin that I decided to buy.Its where I always escape to."Blair informed me.We got into her car and drove off to the mall."So what exactly are we going to be doing?"I asked."Buying you a new wardrobe and getting you some contacts"Blair answered."Blair is completely loaded with money so don't worry about it"Maddie reassured me.After that small talk,we bought tons of outfits and contacts.And when we got back,I got a whole tour of the campus.

I was now back in my dorm with Vincent.I was currently unpacking."So how was your old good girl life?"Vincent asked out of the blue."Lets just say I got bullied a lot"I shrugged.I finished putting all my clothes in the closet.I took off my glasses and laid them on my nightstand."I used to be the baddest boy in my old school.All the shit I did bit me in the ass which is why I'm here but I still manage to keep being that same old rule breaker here"he smirked.I looked up into his eyes."What things did you use to do?"I asked."Pranks,lots of them"he answered simply."Well I'm tired,see you in the morning"I yawned.

I took off the neat covers form my bed and got under them."Oh and Quinn"he whispered."Yeah?"I mumbled since I had my pillow covering my mouth."Your probably the best nerd I have ever met"he laughed."Night,Quinn"he said turning off the lights.I laughed slightly at him.Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all...
