The next day, Gabby woke up to her alarm, but she heard her sister mumbling. The youngest Swan sighed as she got out of bed and started getting ready for her second day at Forks High School.

The youngest Swan looked at her reflection and smiled. Today will be a good day, but I wonder if I'll see him again.

"Let's go, Gabby!" Bella called out.

Gabby sighed as she knew that Bella was upset with whatever happened yesterday with Edward. Gabby didn't see anything wrong there. He may not like Bella, but Gabby won't ask what happened because that's Edward's business not hers. "Let's go!"

Edward stood looking at the new schedule he got. He remembered the slip that Gabby Swan turned in. She had Biochem, the same class he has at the end of the day. "Did you get the class?" Emmett asked.

"Yeah. My mate's in that class, but I don't want to be with her because she's my mate, I want to know her."

"She's quiet." Jasper replies. "I have history with her and she sits beside me. Gabriella is actually a quiet and shy girl."

Edward smelt the most amazing scent and looked to see Gabby walking by to her locker. Bella saw Edward and was shocked that he was at school. She watched Edward walk over to her little sister making her glare. Jasper and Emmett noticed the look and walked over to meet Edward's mate. "Hello, Gabby."

Gabby closed her locker slightly and smiled. "Hi, Edward." She said as she saw Jasper and another guy. "Hi, Jasper."

Edward looked over his shoulder and rolled his eyes. "I'm Emmett."

"Hi.' Gabby said as she blushed. "Um, I don't mean to be rude, but why are you three over here talking to me?"

Edward smiled as he looked at her. "Because you are different from everyone here and the only one who seemed to have caught my eyes within two days." He tells her as he shut her locker. "May I walk you to class."

Gabby nodded as she walked away with Edward, but she did notice the glare on her sister's face causing her to move slightly closer to Edward. Emmett and Jasper already knew why and followed them. Bella scoffed as she went to class. I will get him to be mine.

Lunch came and Gabby was walking to the cafeteria when Bella grabbed her arm, tight. "Ow!"

"You stay the hell away from Edward." She tells her. "I saw him first and I will get him first. Got it?"

Gabby nodded as Bella released her arm. The youngest Swan turned and walked the other way. Alice saw the whole thing and shook her head as she followed the youngest Swan. "Alice, what are you doing?"

"You saw what happened." Alice tells Rosalie. "Edward's going to be pissed and Gabby looked so upset with what happened."

Rosalie rolled her eyes as she went to Emmett. Alice walked out of the school to see if Gabby was okay. Rosalie saw Edward. Edward read her mind and left to see what was wrong with Gabby. "Edward?" He stopped and looked at Bella. "Are you going to sit with me?"

"No because there is someone that has caught my eye and I need to see if she will sit with us."

"What about me?"

"Not a chance." Edward tells her as he walked away.

Bella couldn't believe what just happened and walked away. Edward doesn't care about her, but he will soon and Bella knows just how.

Edward walked out to see Alice and Gabby talking. "She's always been like that." Gabby tells her. "I was mom and dad's miracle baby. As we got older, she started hating me more. I did things she couldn't do. Ballet, play piano, get attention that I never asked for, etc,." She sighed. "My life was always hell and now that we're here, Bella wants Edward and this is our second day, how can she automatically tell me to stay away."

"Oh." Alice said. "I'm sorry to hear that."

"There's something about you that has me talking, but I would like to know you as a friend."

"Gabby, I would love to be your friend." Alice said. "Let's go get you something to eat and we can plan us a day where we can know one another better."

Edward smiled as he would like to know Gabby himself. He walked out just as the two were walking back in. "Gabby." She looked at him. "Would you like to sit with us?"

"Okay."

Edward smiled as he walked with his mate back inside with Alice smiling. Her vision was coming true and she couldn't wait to see what happens next between them.

Later that day, Gabby and Edward walked into their last class causing her to ask one thing. "Why are you in this class?" She asked. "Yesterday you weren't and now..."

"I didn't like the class I was in." He said. "Plus I didn't like your sister's stares."

Gabby nodded as they walked to their desk making Edward sit with Gabby. He noticed the blush on her face and smiled as he was going to enjoy knowing Gabby. As class started, Edward and Gabby started taking notes, but would talk amongst one another. Some of their classmates would whisper how Edward would look at Gabby and how she would only talk to him. "Maybe their soulmates?"

Edward smiled at those words. If only they knew. He thought as he looked at Gabby who was taking notes. She's smart and not curious as far as I know. What else is there to you, Gabriella Swan?

After school, Gabby smiled as she arrived at the station to give her father food and good news. "Hello, is my dad in his office?"

"Gabby?"

She smiled as she walked over to her dad and handed him his food. "I got some news." She said as he looked at her. "I have volunteered at the hospital and hopefully I can find a job there that I can do while in school."

"That's wonderful sweetie." Charlie said. "After I get off work, we will celebrate, but first I know someone who should watch out for you."

"Who?"

"Dr. Cullen."

Gabby nodded with a smile. She has befriended Alice and Edward. Might as well meet the father.
