October 31st 1993

River's POV-

Today was the 3 month anniversary of Mila's death. She had passed away in her sleep mysteriously, I took it the hardest she was the love of my life and for her to die out of the blue broke me

I drowned myself in work, drugs and alcohol. I was tired of life without Mila she was my drug, she my addiction but without her I had got addicted to other things

It was Halloween night when my buddies and I started partying in our costumes, inhaling everything insight. It was getting bad, you shouldn't mix drugs and alcohol especially the amount I've had

Everything was fuzzy for hours, I was in and out of consciousness for a while. I sat down listening to the music and I feel my breath shortening, I blamed it on the dancing from earlier

I was exhausted from everything, pushing myself harder to distract my mind off of Mila. I would do anything to see her again, I miss her so much

I start to drift off to sleep thinking about Mila...

As I wake up I realize I'm not longer at the party. I was standing on clouds and dressed in white, I look forward to see a gate

"Wait am I in heaven? What happened to me? Wait is that? Mila!" I look forward to see her standing in front of the gate walking towards me

I started running towards her and hug her so tight, my eyes tearing up. I break apart to see her in a beautiful white dress, floating halo above her head, she had wings but small and glitter everywhere including with her makeup. She looked like a goddess

"Hi River it's so good to see you again, I've missed you so much"

"I've missed you too love, but may I ask what happened to me?"

"You overdosed River and passed in your sleep"

"Oh"

"It's ok River a lot people have. I'm just glad we are with each other again, I love you"

"I love you too Mila, I'm glad I'm back with you again" I pull her into a kiss I've been longing since she passed
