I know that they were like 12 in the movie when Perkins was gonna trash the Goon docks but for the sake of the story they are 15

Ella Johnson and Mouth Devereaux had been friends since she moved next door to him 8 years ago. Being 6 at the time they immediately became friend when they first met.

Over the years, they stayed best friends. Even expanding the group with Mikey, Chunk and Data when they were 8 years old

As the group became to grow, and the older they got Mikey, Chunk and Data noticed how Ella and Mouth had completely fallen head over heels for each other but they weren't sure if it was true til the two had told their friends

Mouth had told Mikey on Ella's 13th birthday after opening her presents, Mouth gave her this beautiful locket with a picture of him and Ella on one side and Mikey, Chunk and Data on the other

"Mikey can I talk to you?"

"Sure Mouth what's up?" Mouth grabs Mikey's arm and drag him upstairs to Ella's bedroom. Mikey sits on the extra bed that is basically Mouths bed since they stayed the night at each other's house all the time

"Ok I got to tell you this cause I can't keep this to myself anymore" he says pacing back and forth

"Ok Mouth tell me" Mikey says trying to ease him a little

"I think I like Ella no wait I think I'm in love with her. I know we are young and she just turned 13 but I really think I'm in love with her" he says

"Wow Mouth that's uh wow" Mikey was speechless and to be honest not surprised at all, he has watched the two and how they acted around each other. They acted like a couple

"Yeah I know, well wha-" Mouth was gonna ask Mikey more but was cut off by Ella calling them

"We will talk about this later" Mikey says patting Mouths back, he nods with a sigh

A couple months later it was now Mouths 13th birthday when Ella decided to tell Mikey as well, just like Mouth it was after opening presents. She had got him some replica dog tags that belong to Mouth's grandfather

"Mikey can I talk to you?"

"Sure Ella what's up?" Ella grabs Mikey's arm and drag him upstairs to Mouth's bedroom. Mikey sits on the extra bed that is basically Ella's bed

"Ok I got to tell you this cause I can't keep this to myself anymore" she says pacing back and forth

"Ok Ella tell me" Mikey says trying to ease her a little

"I think I like Mouth maybe even love him" he says

"Wow Ella that's uh wow" Mikey was just as speechless from when Mouth told him and not surprised at all, he was waiting for Ella to admit her feelings after Mouth admitted his feelings

"Yeah I know, well wha-" Ella was gonna ask Mikey more but was cut off by Mouth calling them

"Don't say a word Walsh" she says pointing at him

"I won't Ella it will be a secret" that wasn't true, it was only true to Mouth. After Mikey had been told by both of them he told Data because Chunk can't keep a secret to save his life

2 years later...

10:30 pm

"Ella! We need to talk to you!" Ella heard her mom and dad say, she runs downstairs to see them sitting at the dining table with a bunch of papers laying across it

"What's wrong?" Ella asks, she picks up a piece of paper that said 'EVICTED' across it

"We have to move Ella, the Perkins family is gonna demolish our houses and the Goon docks in a couple days" her dad had finally said, her eyes had started to well up and she runs back into her room. She had locked the door and curled up into a ball on her bed and start balling

'We can't move, I grew up here. My best friends live here. We all grew up here. I met Mouth here'

As she thought that she realized, Ella would have to leave Mouth. Which made her start crying even harder. She looked at her clock in her room

10:50 pm

Ella needed to see Mouth. She grab Mouth's sweatshirt he left at her house and climbed down the ladder next to her room

She walked 5 feet across the small gap in between their houses and climbed up the ladder, when she got to the top she knocked on the window. Mouth looked over and saw her, he ran to the window and opened it

"Ella are you ok?" He asks, once she got into his room she hugged him tightly. He hugs back, him being a few inches taller than her, he rest his chin on the top of her head

"Ella what's wrong, have you been crying?" He says when she looked back up, he wipes a tear from her cheek

"Yeah I have, just found out about what Perkins is doing to the Goon docks and our houses. Our homes we grew up in" she say having a tear slip out of her eye as she finish her sentence

"It will be ok Ella" he says wiping that tear away as well. He looked down at her lips and back at her eyes, she did the same and look down. He puts a finger under her chin and pushes it up so that she is looking back up at him

She look into his chocolate brown eyes and realize again that she was totally in love with him and he doesn't even know, she just kept admiring them til she felt his lips on hers

She melted in the kiss after the shock was gone, he put his hands on her waist pulling her closer to him. She put my arms around his neck. The kiss lasted about 15 seconds til they pulled away

"Ella, I'm in love with you and I have been since we were 13" Mouth finally admits to her

"Mouth..I'm totally in love with you too" she says with a smile, he smiles back and kisses her again but this time for much longer

They pulled away, laughed at each other and hugged once again

"Ella please be my girlfriend" Mouth says

"Of course Mouth, wanted to be since we were 13" she say lightly laughing
