Lightbulb and The Wizard Of Wonder-Ville [An Inanimate Insanity x BFDI Fanfic]

🧁Chapter 3🧁

It's just been a few solid minutes after Lightbulb ran. She was still upset and thinking that her friends didn't like what she made. But eventually she felt the wind blow around as she kept on thinking about going somewhere over the rainbow again, and meeting her own fantasy characters. She spun around slowly while walking, staring up at the empty grey sky. She then let out a smile, actually enjoying this strange vibe.

She then started to sing a song, one that yall may be familiar with--

Yep, she started singing, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to her pet, as she kept on going through the empty, dim green field. Eventually, she reached the bridge that lead to the other side of the world they lived in.

She walked over it and finally made it! She looked around trying to find them, and she eventually found Lollipop and Gaty walking by.

"Heeey!" She yelled to them. They heard her and walked towards her. "Well hello Lightbulb, what brings you here on the other side of the bridge?" Lollipop asked. "Also cool dress."

"Thanks, and earlier I heard my friends say that the dress I'm wearing reminds me of Dorothy, so i made drawings of them and you guys as them! I showed most of them to my border friends so now i wanted to show you!" Lightbulb exclaimed. "Hm, alright! Come along with us and you can show them to everyone else here." Gaty said. "Thanks Gate Girl!" Lightbulb said happily. She got to everyone else and showed them her drawings.

"And Tree can be the mayor, Flower, Book and Leafy are in the Lullaby League, and Pen, Coiny and Firey are in the, Lollipop Guild! That goes for you Lolly!" Lightbulb said. "Heh, nice one!" Lollipop said.

"So what do you think?" Yes? No? Maybe so?" "HMMM- I think i work out in the Lollipop Guild" Firey exclaimed. "And i would be a great fit for the Lullaby League!" Leafy also exclaimed.

Everyone else shared their opinions on Lightbulb's fantasy.

"Omga! Thanks everyone!" Lightbulb said. "I'm glad you guys like it. Aside from some people who probably don't."

"Oh, what do you mean?" Saw asked. "Well, Yin and Yang thought it was a bit stupid, and now I'm starting to think that the others don't like it as well. They barely even said anything as well! Just alot of short "compliments". So i guess they probably do think it's stupid." She said. Pin then went to Lightbulb. "Well, two insults or some words don't mean that the others around you hate it. We all have our own opinions. Even if they can be a bit rude.. so don't let them get to your head. I know for a fact the others liked it too! They were just to stunned to speak." "You mean it?" Lightbulb asked. Pin nodded.

"Well, I guess you're right, I gues I didn't know what I was thinking, thanks for that." Lightbulb said with a smile. "Anytime Lightbulb." Pin said. As everyone else left to do their own business, Gaty got a call from Book.

"Oh Lightbulb, Book just called me and asked where you are! Do you want me to answer?" She asked Lightbulb. "..I guess so, I wonder what they have to say." Lightbulb said, as she sat down next to Gaty.

"She went to our side of the bridge." Gaty answered "Well, Paintbrush can't find her and they're starting to get worried! Fan and Test Tube are as well!!" Book said

"Oh no.. the others found out you're gone!" "Wait, really?!"" Lightbulb asked. "Yes! I'll pass you onto Book!"

Lightbulb took her phone: "Hello? Book??"

Book: "Lightbulb yes! Where are you?! Gaty said you were on their side!"

Lightbulb: "Yes i am on their side! So what?"

Book: "I don't think it was the best idea.. Everyone is looking for you, and Paintbrush is freaking out like crazy!"

Lightbulb: "Wait.. PAINTY?!"

Book: "Yes Painty! They're literally on the verge of bursting out into literal flames because you're gone and they can't find you! Which is a little extra, but STILL!!"

Lightbulb: *GASP* "You don't suppose that They're actually gonna start bursting right?! Oh god, I have to get home right now!"

Book: "Yes! Come, now!!"

Lightbulb: "Alright!"

Lightbulb cut the call and gave the phone back to Gaty. "Wait Lightbulb! Are you sure you're gonna be alright?!" Gaty screamed. "Yes! I can handle it!" She put all her drawings and Baxter back inside her Basket. As she stood up. "I'll see you all later! And thanks alot!!" She started running back to the hotel. As Lollipop Noticed the incoming storm.

"Well we better get inside ourselves! There's a storm coming!" She then looked over to Lightbulb, still running across the yellow grass. "Poor girl I hope she makes it back safe.."
