Yang led Lightbulb downstairs into the kitchen as she started to look at her new surroundings. The place was quite dim and it felt odd without her friends around. Yang then unchained her wrists and set up a list of the things that would be used to make these "special cookies".
"Alright Lightbulb. Here's the list of ingredients for these things. They're all in the fridge over there." Yang pointed out. Lightbulb nodded lightly and quickly got all the things out of the fridge, setting them on the table. She also went and grabbed a few bowls from a nearby shelf. "Remember, you ONLY have until 7:30 to get them done. So you should probably get going."Yang reminded. As he then turned back and headed upstairs again. But not before stopping to face Lightbulb once more. "Also: I do have my eye on you. If I spot anything out of the ordinary you're going down." He stated as he left.
Lightbulb looked up and saw a small camera on the corner of the ceiling. She stared at her items and took the list. "Huh. Seems pretty simple!" She said as she read the list. The ingredients listed on appeared to be similar to frosted grocery store cookies. "Alright Baxter, let's get this done!" She said.
She got the dry ingredients first and put a good amount of them into the first bowl. After mixing them together, she set it aside and got the other bowl to stir in some other things. While she was doing this, Yang was monitoring her over the camera.
As he continued watching, he noticed how good she really was at the baking task. At some point, he started getting a bit anxious, thinking that she was going to win the bet. Yin noticed his reaction and found a plan to get him to stop watching Lightbulb. He pulled out a piece of paper, wrote something on it, crumbled it up into a ball and threw it at ScareBrush. They were confused, until they opened it. It read:
"Yang is looking nervous. Try to stall him so he stops watching Lightbulb! -Yin" ScareBrush saw Yin in the corner and nodded. Yin smiled as he went back to his hiding spot.ScareBrush beckoned him over as Yang noticed and took a long sigh. "What is it ScareBrush?" Yang asked, trying to hide his anxiety. "You seem a bit nervous while watching Lightbulb. Is something up?" They asked. Yang looked to the side. "Uh, No! You probably were just seeing things." He said. Turning around and crossing his arms. "Well, when you talk like that, I kind of think otherwise. I don't think you want to, since.. well, you're obviously wicked and stubborn, but do you want to have a small talk? Just for a moment?" They offered. Yang was reluctant at first. But later gave in. "Well.. if you say so I guess so." Yang said. Sitting down on the floor with them.
Tin-Tube lightly tapped on ScareBrush's shoulder. "What are you doing?" She whispered. "Why do you want to talk?!" ScareBrush quickly silenced her. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing." They whispered back. Tin-Tube lightly nodded as she moved away to give them a bit of space. Yin just listened to their conversation.
Lightbulb was almost done mixing the batter. Baxter was watching her the entire time she was doing this. At one point she stopped to look at him, and also the camera above that Yang was watching her from again. She then went to a nearby counter but tipped over her basket along the way. Exposing the potion Yin gave him. She turned around and bent down to pick it up. She then got up and took a quick gulp. She twisted off the cap and crossed her fingers as she slowly poured it into the batter. "Let's pray that Yang isn't watching us.." Lightbulb whispered to Baxter. Meanwhile Yang was still having his "Mini Therapy Session" with ScareBrush.
"Unless you promise to not tell this to anybody, especially Yin, I'm actually nervous to have your silly friend win this bet. I mean, just look at her!! How can she be that good?" Yang said in a slightly angry tone, as he pointed to the TV screen. ScareBrush [And Yin] took a look and saw her finish pouring the weird liquid into the batter and mixing it in. They quickly looked back at Yang. While Yin cheered underneath his breath.
"Well, if it makes you feel better, you're not really alone there. I've had this issue happen to me too a few years back. Want me to tell you about it?" They asked. "Sure." Yang replied.
Lightbulb looked at the clock and saw how it was already 7:09. She didn't have much time left. She just finished putting the cookies into the oven and quickly started making the frosting. Finally, the oven bell rang just as she was finishing up putting color into the frosting. She got the cookies out as she put them on the counter and frosted them, adding in a few sprinkles for decoration. She stretched, knowing that she was finally done.
"Well that was a lot of work, Right Baxter?" Lightbulb asked him. He did a quick nod. "And look, just in time too! Hopefully everything goes according to plan."

"And then I just go like, "GET YOUR LITTLE DIRTY DUSTY AND GREASY WINGS OFF ME!!" to those stupid crows. But it just never stops! Crazy, right?" ScareBrush asked Yang as he gave a small chuckle. "Ha! Really seems to suck for ya!" Yang mocked. ScareBrush just rolled their eyes with a smile. Yang then looked at the time. "Alright, you just stay there now." Yang demanded. ScareBrush listened as Yang walked over to the TV. Lightbulb was now heading upstairs with the cookies. Yin took the time to crawl near where the other three were sitting. Preparing himself for the real fun to settle in.
"I'm back! And so are the cookies." Lightbulb said happily. Setting them down on the table. "Now, can I have my shoes back?" She asked Yang. "Nope! You may have finished making them, but how do they taste?" He asked, walking over to one of the cookies and taking a bite out of it. Lightbulb then saw Yin and quickly grabbed another cookie and gave it to
ScareBrush, saying, "Pass it down to Yin!". She quickly walked back to Yang as ScareBrush passed the cookie down. Yin then got his hands on the cookie. Also taking a bite and eating it."Surprising. You got the flavor exactly to how it really is." Yang told her, taking a few more bites. "So does that mean..." She said to him, putting her hands on her hips with a smile on her face. Yang looked off to the side, but saw Yin as he finished his cookie. "Yin?! How did you get your hands on the cookies?!" He yelled as he walked up to him. Yin swallowed and simply shrugged. Yang then paused. "Wait, does this mean you were listening to the talk me and ScareBrush were having?!?" Yang demanded to know. "Well, yea! Where did you think I was?" Yin replied. Yang just looked at him. "OH MY GODDAMN GOD... That was our private conversation time!! How was I supposed to know you were just casually hanging out here?!" Yang asked again. "Pfft, you tell me that. Tin-Tube and Fani-Lion heard you're conversation too by the way." Yin confessed.
"Well.. I-" Before Yang could even finish that sentence, the effects from the potion finally started working. "Wait, what's happening?!" Yang panicked. "Uh.. I don't know!!" Yin said back, lying. Lightbulb then took this time to run back to her friends and untie them. They then shielded their eyes as Yin and Yang officially merged back together again.
