Baxter and Lightbulb continued down the road. "I'm surprised there isn't that much singing here.." Lightbulb said as looked at Baxter. "K'now what? How about a quick little break from the walking?" She asked him. He then gave the nod of approval.

Lightbulb looked around for a moment and noticed how they were now surrounded by wide fields of different types of plants. Like vegetables and such everywhere. There was also a large straw field. "Wow. Have you ever seen a huge vegetable field like this before, or is it just me?" Lightbulb asked Baxter, getting no answer. "Yeah you're right, me neither. Painty's flower field looks small now in comparison to this! No offense tho obviously" She said again.

Lightbulb then sat down on a gate that covered the fields. "Honestly I'm really lucky, these shoes are actually pretty comfortable! And it's surprising when you remember that these are heels, right?" Lightbulb said. Showing off her Ruby heels again to Baxter. "You know, I kinda wish we had a bigger group in order to keep us company during our long walk to the Emerald Hotel. It would be a lot more convenient." She said again. But afterwards. Baxter turned the other way and made his way into one of the fields just for fun. Lightbulb then got off her seat.

"Wait Baxter! Where are you going? You get back here!!" Lightbulb called out. Going over the other gate and into the field. "Baxter come back! We have to keep on going! Plus, you know I told you not to go into other people's gardens without permission!" She scolded. Eventually though, she did find him again. "Phew. Good thing you're alright! Why'd you even run into the field anyway?" Lightbulb asked Baxter again. Baxter just shrugged. "Eh, at least I gotcha now. Anyways, let's get out of here before someone finds us and get back on the road!" She said again. Quickly but carefully making her way out of the garden.

Lightbulb put Baxter in her basket going forward. They then entered the straw field that they saw earlier. But then, Lightbulb took notice as to how the road split up into two lanes.

"Oh! Now which way do I go?" She looked around. She then looked around, hoping to find somebody that could guide her through the field. Shortly after, she saw a familiar looking tall figure "Huh, what's that thing over there?" She asked herself. Walking up towards it. She then saw how it looked an awful lot like Paintbrush!

"Wow! What's Painty doing here? And.. why are they dressed like a scarecrow?" Lightbulb asked again as she ran up to them. "Hey Painty!!" She said. But received no answer. "Oh? Painty??" She asked them. Still no answer. She then tapped on their hat. Desperate for a tiny answer. Eventually. They started blinking and looked directly at her.

"..I'm sorry? I don't know this Painty person that you're referring to." They finally spoke. Looking at her with a puzzled expression.

"It's me, Painty, Lightbulb! From inanimate island! Do you not know?" She asked them. "I don't want to sound rude, but my name isn't Painty." The scarecrow told her. "Oh.. but then what is your name?" Lightbulb asked them. "Well thanks for asking, it's ScareBrush. Basically just a scarecrow paintbrush combination thing. Nice to meet ya." They explained. Lightbulb then remembered how this is literally just how she drew them earlier. "I can definitely see that! Also hi!" Lightbulb said again while holding a thumbs up.

"Heh. Anyways.. what brings you into this large straw field?" ScareBrush asked her. "Well.. I'm here because Soap, the good witch sent me to a large walking trip to the Emerald Hotel! But now I ended up at a crossroad, so now I don't know which way to go. But now that we're standing here, do you know the way back on the normal road?" Lightbulb asked and explained.

A few crows then landed on top of ScareBrush's head and their shoulders. "Well.. I could tell you the way.. if I could just get these DING DAMN CROWS OFF MY BACK!!!" ScareBrush screamed, trying to get the crows away from their body. But they wouldn't budge. Lightbulb stepped in and got them away herself by shooing them with her single hand.

"Whew, Thanks for that. These crows are just so frustrating to work with!! I can never get them away!" ScareBrush slightly ranted for a moment.

"Oh my omga! But isn't that like, y'know.. your job? To be a scarecrow and to scare away the crows and other animals?" She asked. "Well.. technically while I AM a scarecrow object, it's been a really long while and now it's straight up impossible to scare away these dumb predators that try to get near the straw and crops. I even had an instance where one tried to attack me and rip my hat! And I still haven't been remade to be more scary. They said.

"Omga really? That sounds frustrating!" Lightbulb said.

"Yeah, it sucks and I still haven't gotten used to it. All I really want from the lords of these cotton candy flavored skies is to ACTUALLY be adjusted to be more scary. Even if it's just for one single day! I can't stand these pests being on me 24/7!!!" They responded in desperation.

"Oh! Well, that thing I said about going to the Emerald hotel.. I'm going in order to meet the Wizard of Wonder-Ville. The one who lives there!! Maybe you can come along with me, and he can give you what you want!" She said. "Wait, are you being serious?" They asked.

"Yes! You can trust me!" she said. "Wow! Alright then, Now gimme a sec..." ScareBrush turned to the crows that were on them again. "GET THE HELL OFF ME YOU RAT DEMONS WITH WINGS!!!" they waved around their arms again. This time they thankfully managed to get them off.

"Okay.. and also speaking of which, stay still, I'll get you down from that standing pole! Lightbulb got up and quickly unhooked the object from their current position, she then got a firm grip on them in order to make sure they don't fall.. but they still did anyway. Mostly due to not standing in a hot moment.

"Omga! Are you ok?!" She asked in worry. *sigh* "Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine." They said while trying to stand up. "I gotcha!" Lightbulb held their hand and got them back up.

"Alright, thanks, now let's go to the wizard! We're going on the right lane!" They grabbed her arm and ventured off again. While some random green light was watching over them..
