JUNE'S POV

"Go and ask your mo- I mean Nat! It's going to be amazing, I promise." Wanda's bouncing on my bed, my nails are still drying and my nose is recovering from the strong nail polish, but I smile. I nod and laugh at Wanda's enthusiasm, I've never been to a big market before (and the markets were I have been were just an another crime scene).  I put on a big sweater and Wanda drags me downstairs were Nat is still sitting like I left her "Uh Nat can I ask you a question?". I stare at my feet "Yeah what do you need?" <okay how do we put this> the silence fills the space between us. "Can I take her to the trade fair please? I promise to look out for her, if you don't trust us on our own you can come too?" I lift my head and stare at Wanda with big eyes. Natasha thinks "Yeah, but you're going to take breaks from the walking. Understood?" that last part is for me but Wanda answers for me "Yeah of course.". I smile and nod "Got it, thank you." Wanda takes my hand and softly drags me to this illuminated place in the city. It is amazing to be here without having to take out a target.

Fatigue kicks in quickly, Wanda swears it is malnutrition, but I believe the amount of people is exhausting. "Hi we're back!" Wanda's voice fills the whole compound, "Wands I need to find Nat or Bruce, but this was the best evening of my whole life." she smiles and hugs me carefully as if she's afraid to break me. I slowly find my way to Nat "Hi how was it?" she greets me. "It was great, but I need you to attach the tube." Natasha nods, but concern covers her face "Are you okay June?" she walks to me and puts her hands on my shoulders "Yeah why? I'm a bit tired but that's okay.". She stares at me for a minute and then says "Maybe you shouldn't walk that long." I shrug and focus on the tips of my shoes, she is right.

NATASHA'S POV

The small pale girl in front of me stares at her shoes and plays with the tips of her long pony tail. I try not to smile and set up her tube, she starts tapping her fingers together and shakes slightly. "June why don't we watch a movie?" her eyes meet mine, they are glossy "Yes please" her voice sounds fragile. "What type of movie do you want to see?" she sits down in the couch, but she frowns "I don't know". "One time when they sent me to an old ruin, sometimes I try to imagine what happened there. I uh make a story in my head, but my powers allow me to see it." I raise an eyebrow "Can you do it with other things like I don't know a historical figure? Or like a random figure you create?". June starts laughing softly "Of course I can, one time I imagined a wrestler mouse. Or the monster I imagine hiding in the walls, that one is scary tho." she giggles softly. "Could you show me how, in ideal circumstances, you would be in five years?" she looks at me "Like dreaming? Yeah sure." I nod and she starts. Her house is in a flower field, the house is small but very organized. June is married to a beautiful woman with long blonde hair, green eyes, a soft smile and freckles decorating her skin "Esther? Can you go find some apples please?". The young woman smiles "Sure Juniper, if you make dinner.", her voice is soft, it reminds me of honey. June turns around and starts laughing, her hair is shorter now, but her eyes are filled with sparks and she looks happy. "Go get apples and we can talk about it, maybe call Wanda and Nat, just to make sure they're okay.", Esther nods and leaves to the garden. June starts humming a soft tune that I recognize, she goes back to painting the door a soft pastel green. Everything just fits together perfectly, the cat  circling around her feet, the flowers and the soft dress she is wearing, bright perfect. "June honey, we need to visit your friends again. It's been a while, we could make an apple pie." June nods her arms coated in the green paint.

"Was that Esther?" June nods her face filled with something I can only describe as love. We sit in silence both enjoying the moment we shared. "Nat?" I hum softly and look at her "I think I want to live in this world, like properly. I will never have a life with Esther, but maybe that's not a bad thing. We were children, we were learning to love and it was great. I'll miss her, but maybe that's okay.". I look in her eyes and take her hands in mine "Yeah June, that's perfectly okay. You deserve to love someone new, be loved and maybe build a life together." <I hope it's Wanda>. June's eyes widen "Nat don't think so loud, we are friends." I start laughing and put my hands up apologetically "I'm sorry, it came before I knew. But eh you like her right? Not just as friends I mean" I'm pushing my luck. She starts to blush and buries her face in her hands "Leave it alone I don't want to talk about it." I can hear the smile in her voice and nudge her. "Whatever you say June." she starts laughing and grabs the cushion on her right and throws it at me.

JUNE'S POV

<I hope it's Wanda too, I really really do> "What about agent Hill, when are you going to ask her out?" Natasha looks at me surprised "Uh I don't know, how do you know? Maybe she doesn't even like me.". I start laughing loudly "Nat I've seen the way she looks at you she definitely likes you. So do you by the way, for a spy you're really bad at hiding it." she shakes her head but is smiling. "What about a deal, I'll ask agent Hill out and you ask Wanda." I laugh but nod, "Deal.". Natasha takes the cushion I just threw and throws it back, I've always dreamed about a family like this and now I have one.

[3rd POV] It takes June 3 weeks to get rid of the ng tube and the screaming that goes with mealtimes. The nausea keeps following her and her tears still taste like the time spend behind a plate, but June eats again, slowly. June Caroline Bellini prefers to surround herself with people at all times she tells Natasha it's because she is a 'people person' even though Natasha knows it is fear. Sam tries to teach her to feel her feelings again, which is harder than expected so he just slips in the role of the therapist. Wanda teaches June to love softly subtly and Tony builds a small dancing studio so Natasha and June can dance there, freely.
