New Heros

Chapter 5

"RISE AND SHINE!!" Tom yelled. The boys all jumped out of bed.
"Dear God. What the hell?" Alex said.
"Get dressed you guys have to get registered, and we have something special for you." Tom said and left the room.

Alexa woke up before Ling walked in.
"Girls wake up-oh. You're awake." Ling said.
"Yeah I sensed you."
"Spidey sense?" She joked.
"Haha." Alexa faked laugh. It was a little funny to her.
"Girls wake up. You need to registered, and we have a surprise for you. All of thr teens took a shower one by one put on deodorant, cologne/perfume, and got dressed.

Alexa changed into a red shirt, blue pants, white/red converse, and put her long red hair into two braids.

Bonnie brushed her black hair, put on a white shirt, a grey sweater, blue jeans, and sparies.

Amber put on black combat boots, black skinny jeans, a black shirt, and fixed half of her hair like spikes.

Lonnie brushed her brown hair, put on a purple transitioning to pink skirt, sandals, and a light purple sweater.

Rocky didn't fix his hair, he put on black and red vans, dark blue jeans, and a black and red stripped sweater.

Alex put on a blue shirt, khaki shorts, blue/white converse, and fixed his hair up with gel.

Johnny left his brown hair messy like, put on blue jeans, blue vans, a white shirt and a white/grey sweater.

Charlie combed his blonde hair, put on a green shirt, khaki shorts, and green converse.

They all met in the living room with Tom and Ling. "Ready?" They ask. Everyone nods. Tom opened the door, and they all left their room. In the hallway they saw multi cultural kids and teens. All sizes and ages under twenty.

They arrived at the front office. A woman had extra arms holding phones.
"Hey Tom. New students?" She asks.
"Yup."
"Come in."

A tall man greeted them. Alex tensed up a little.
"Guys this is your principle. Principle Oct, your new students." Ling said. The man stared at the kids.
"They don't look like they can fight bad guys." Oct said.
"Sir with all do respect, with out these kids, we wouldn't be here." Tom enthusiastically told Oct.
"Well then. Nice to meet all of you. Now if you will step into this room please." Oct showed the a white room, they all stepped inside. Oct closed the door.

The kids freaked out. Then an intercom came on.
Oct: sorry. Don't worry it's going to scan to see what you are and your special abilities.
It got dark, but they could still see.
A small rod shot up from the ground, a green light appeared on the floor, then scanned everyone in the room. The lights turned back on.
A female computer voice said : three supers, two mutants, two sorcerers, and one all of the above.

Oct looked at Tom and Ling.
"You found one?" Oct asked.
"Yeah. He's a good guy. No way he can turn evil."
Oct: okay you can come out now.

Each one walked out. Looking at Oct's surprised expression.
"Which one of you can do all?" Oct asked.
"Me." Rocky said.
"I expect great things from you." Oct pointed. "Now come. Time to get your class schedules, and uniforms."
"Uniforms?" Alexa asked.
"Just clothes you need to wear in class."

Oct stood in the intersection of three hallways.
"Okay. Magics, go with Ling in the left hallway. Mutants, go with Tom in the right hallway. Supers come with me down this hallway. Rocky you will be going down all three hallways a lot, but for now follow me."

"Okay. Here we are." Ling stood at a wall.
"Um... Ling there's no door." Lonnie said.
"Oh. I forgot to mention this. Becoming a sorceress, or a sorcerer, you must realize that somethings aren't always what they seem." Linda walked through the wall. Lonnie and Charlie.
"Whoa." Lonnie grabbed Charlie's hand. "Together." They both walked through the wall, and felt a tingly sensation go down their spine.

"Holy crap." Lonnie said.

A gigantic room was on the other side of the wall. There was a big wardrobe  in the center.
"Please. Step in." Ling said. " Lonnie? You first?" Lonnie stepped inside. Ling closed the door, waited for a few minutes. Beautiful colored sparks appeared from every corner then disappeared. The door opened again, and Lonnie stepped out.
"Charlie? Will you please?" Ling gestured towards the wardrobe. Charlie stepped in. Ling closed the door. A glowing light took over Charlie. It changed into every color existing then disappeared. The door opened. Charlie stepped out.

"Please follow me." Ling said walking to a book case at the far left of the room against the wall. Ling snapped her fingers, and eight hard cover thick books gently flew off the book shelf. They divided into two. Four for Lonnie, four for Charlie. They floated in mid air. Two books were red, two were purple, two were turquoise, and the other two were black.

"Okay. These are books of spells, yet there not specifically the same. Once you grab a hold of them each page will fill up with spells you will need and want. The red books are basic and advanced hand magic. The purple books are basic and advanced intstruction on how to make postions, portals, and enchantments. The turquoise books are books that talk about the magical/mythical creatures we have in the wood outside of school. Believe it or not, but some creatures you think exist, are real. Now the black books are different. They tell you the basic and advances on how to wield a wand and how to cast spells. All pictures in the book move so don't freak out." Ling says walking over to a black box.

She opens the box. "Now put your hand over the box the both of you, but side by side." Charlie and Lonnie saw four wands appear under their hands. "One is a spare just in case one wand breaks. Follow me." Ling says. She goes to double doors on the right side of the room. Pulling the doors open, Charlie and Lonnie see broom sticks.
"These are your vehicles to travel to some parts of school."

DING

"Oh. Your clothes are ready." Ling runs to the wardrobe in the center. She pulls out a silk black cloak with a hood. "For Charlie." Ling then pulls out a witch hat, and a cloak with no hood. "For Lonnie. Just because it has a witches hat doesn't make you a witch."
"What's the difference?" Lonnie asked.
"You didn't sell your souls to the devil." Ling said hugging the two. "Now Charlie, your wand is the light blue one, and your spare is the thick white one. Lonnie your spare wand is the thin white one, and your main wand is the red one."

Lonnie held her wand, completely amazed. Charlie looked at his wand, he couldn't believe he has one.
"Oh. Lonnie you get a bag." Ling handed Charlie a watch. "It maybe small, but you can put your stuff in, it has a lot of space."

Sirens went off.
"WARNING! WARNING! Stay in your class room, security please go to the court yard. There are-"

"Demons." Ling whispered. She grabbed Charlie and Lonnie, and ran out of the room.
