New Heros

Chapter 11

Three days left for the Wizard Games. Charlie, Lonnie, and Rocky were perfecting their skills, and spells not only in class, but in private class with Ling. They had mastered hand magic, flying, potions and teleporting. Now they were working with their wands.

"Okay, wand waving can be tricky. In your book it shows you a spell, and a specific way to wield your wand. It's a good thing we're outside, cause this part of the book is dangerous." In the book it showed the hand twisting its wrist then pointing.

"Okay. What I want you to do is. Point at a target and say crepitus." Ling said ducking behind a tree. Charlie went up first. His target was a demon standing on the ground. Charlie did as the picture showed.
"CREPITUS!" Charlie shouted. The spell shot out and contacted the target. The target exploded.
"Nice Charlie." Ling said behind the tree. "Now Lonnie. Your turn."

Lonnie did the same spell, this time it looped over the target, and hit the back side.
Rocky did the same spell, only his swirled towards the target.
"Oh my." Ling said coming out of the tree. "Okay. Page 120. This spell is like a whip. Look at the targets that fly and I want you to say flagellum, and pull the target down." Ling pressed a button, and three vultures appeared from the tree.

Charlie used the spell. The whip from the wand was a reddish orange color, wrapped around the vulture, and pull down with all his might. Vulture one crashed down to the ground, and disappeared.
When Lonnie used the spell, the whip was a green color. Pulling down the vulture, it hit the ground hard then disappeared.
Rocky's spell was red and blue mixed. Pulling down the vulture was the fastest thing they had seen.

"Good. Now all of your turn to page 134. This spell is a camouflage spell. Good timing too. It's getting dark."

Alex put on his suit, and covered his face with his mask. He began sneaking out of his room. No one woke up. In the living room, Alex opened the window, and quietly crawled out. Closing the window behind him he stayed on the wall, looking at his surroundings. Everyone outside was heading inside. Alex saw a manhole on the side of the building. He jumped down, opened it, slipped in, and covered it, without being seen.

Alex felt that there's something not right about Oct. Every time he saw him, or said his name, chills went down his, spine. His plan was to sneak into Oct's office, and figure out everything wrong with Oct... if there was something wrong with him.

"What better way to travel unseen then the sewerage system tunnels?" Alex thought. He was climbing on the wall getting closer and closer to his destination. "I wonder if I'm right about him. Was he a bad guy? Or am I being paranoid?" Just as he was making a turn he saw a sidewalk, and a glowing yellow light.

He then saw three people at a big sealed circular door. One was a boy, with horns coming out of his head, and elbows. Another was a boy who had gigantic blades coming out of his middle finger knuckle. The last was a girl who had sparks surrounding her. All of them were about his age.

"Hey. We got company." The horn boy said.
"Who?!" The sparkling girl asked.

"Me." Alex joined in. All three of them now looked at Alex.

"What the fuck are you wearing?" The horn boy said.
"My ass kicking suit." Alex responded, tightening his fist.
"Okay. Kick my ass." The girl said.
"I don't fight girls." Alex stared. The girl put her hands in the water, electricity traveled through the water then out of it, hitting Alex. Alex flew back.

"But I do." The girl transported through the air, then to Alex, picking him up. "Don't fuck with Elecktirs!" The girl said.
"So, you're Elecktirs?"
"DAMN RIGHT. That's Horn frog, and Blade boy." Elecktirs pointed at the two.
"Nice to meet you." Alex head butted Elecktirs. Elecktirs dropped Alex and moved back in pain. "I'm Spider-Guy."

"Like Spider-Man?" Horn frog asked.
"Sorta." Alex shot webs at Horn Frog and Blade boy. Horn frog got tangled, as for Blade boy, he cut through the webs. Alex confronted blade boy with a punch.

"Best you got?" Blade boy gave a devilish stare with his green eyes and black hair. His blade got longer and thicker.
"Nope." Alex back flipped kicking his feet under Blade boy's chin. Blade boy flew in the air, falling hard onto the sidewalk, knocking him out.

Horn frog stuck his tongue out smacking Alex in the face.
"Awe sick. If you wanted to French me all you gotta do is ask. " Alex laughed. Again Horn frog stuck his tongue out, Alex caught it with his left hand.

"You're in for a shock!" Elecktirs shot an electrical ball at Alex. Alex pulled Horn frog over him, making Horn frog getting hit with the electric ball, knocking Horn frog out.
"Shit." Elecktirs said.
Alex put Horn frog on the side of the tunnel tieing him up in webs.
"Look like it's you and me, outlet." Alex smirked.
"Outlet?"
"You know an electrical outlet, vulnerable, and weak."
"I AM NOT WEAK!!!" Elecktirs had static in her voice, and transported to Alex. Alex spun a web, and swung to the other side of the tunnel.
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT SPIDER-GUY!!!"
"Sorry, I'm broke!" Alex shot a web at Elecktirs, blinding her. When she got the webs of her face, she saw Alex's foot heading for her face. She shot a electric ball, but it had no effect.
"Nice try, but my suit has insulation, when I want it on." Elecktirs shocked Alex and pushed him in the water. Alex turned his insultion on. Elecktirs began to shock the water.
"DIE SPIDER-GUY!!!!" Elecktirs yelled. Alex could hold his breath for ten minutes. He saw four men with suits take down Elecktirs. That takes care of her, but he had to leave the area or else he might get in trouble. He swam to a hole, the water got faster, and shot Alex out of the sewer.

"Where am I?" He asked himself. Alex was on the side of th hill side. The school was on top of the hill. Climbing up wasn't the hard part. The hard part was sneaking back in. Smelling like sewer, Alex found the window to his bathroom. Alex quickly showered then climbed into bed, with out waking anyone.
