Chapter 17

"Yeah. We took care of it." Alex said. He and Tom were at the controls.
"So tell me again. Oct, is a bad guy?" Tom asked.
"Yeah. I knew I had a bad feeling around him. He has a plan for Rocky, Lonnie, and Charlie. I don't know what, but we couldn't get to him. We had to fight off the other guys. They got away. Rex's dad is also with him."
"You guys could've been killed. Going against Red Skull. He could've killed you already. I still don't understand why he didn't." Tom said. "And done. The portal now leads them back here, and I mean here as in here."

A portal appeared in the center of the control room. Then people flew through the portal. It was Rocky, Lonnie, Charlie, and Caroline were on the floor of the control room.
"Yes! We're back!" Rocky said.
"But where are we?" Lonnie said
"Guys, we gotta talk to you." Alex said.
"Alex? Where are we?" Charlie asked.

"Look." Tom started. "Look. The games were rigged. There weren't suppose to be dragons. Didn't it click into your heads that the magic affected them? That doesn't happen with the real thing. And Oct, is a bad guy. We don't know exactly who he is, but he's no good guy. He's gone, but he will be back. His intentions are for you three. He has plans for you. This could've been worse, but luckily, your friends held back a few bad people." Tom stared at them.
"And they saved my life." Catwoman joined.

"No way! You're Catwoman!" Rocky screamed.
"Yes. Now I must go. It was nice meeting you all. Maybe we'll meet again." She starts walking away wiggling her butt from side to side. She stops and turns back to Bonnie and Alex. "Thank you."

"You saved Catwoman?" Rocky asked.
"Yep." Alex said. "But you guys aren't safe. Especially you Rocky. Since you're all three, I have a bad feeling Oct might try to get to you first."
"You gotta teach me how to kick ass. Johnny told me that you stopped the three students who tried to mess with the games in the first place." Rocky said, smiling.
"Dude, it's all instincts, and I had too. Not just to kick their ass, but it was the right thing to do." Alex said. "Look how about the next time I get a bad feeling I'll take you with me." He held out his fist. Rocky pounded it.

"So what happens now?" Charlie asked. They were all back into their room, now Caroline was rooming with them.
"Well, we need to boost up security around here. Watch the students. I don't want to worry you, but Rex and his group are gone." Ling says.

"You guys will need to spend more time in class. Let's face it, if Catwoman hadn't shown up, you all would be dead." Tom said.
"How did you know to come to the control room?" Alex asked.
"When we saw the dragons, we called people to get the dragons, and to set the controls right." Tom answered. "The student, aren't safe here anymore." Ling said. "We don't have a safe place to put them, and their not ready to be put into the real world yet. I see that our security will not be enough."

"We'll help." Alex said.
"No way. You all almost died today. You can't risk your lives like that again." Tom remarked.
"It's not about risking your life. It's about doing what's right." Johnny commented.
"We gotta do it Tom." Alexa joined.

Tom paused for a long time.
"Fine, but take these." Tom handed them ear pieces.
"If you need back up, call us, or your teammates. You guys will have a schedule. Some of you will stay here, some of you will be outside patrolling the halls. Most importantly you guys will need to go to class."
"Yes sir." Rocky said

Every student in school was in the gym. Ling had an announcement to make.
"Students. It is our displeasure to inform you all that your principle, is part of an evil alliance." Ling started. An uproar hovered over the students. "Now now. I have good news. We have new security with us." She points to Alex, Alexa, Bonnie, Johnny, Lonnie, Amber, Rocky, Charlie, and Caroline, they all wore their suits, and cloaks.

Ling points to Johnny, "This is Silver Blade."
Alex and Alexa walk up, "These two are Spider-Babe, and Spider-Guy."
Lonnie stands up, "This is the sorceruss."
Bonnie walks up, "This is the Bird."
Charlie, and Caroline walks up, "These two are the Scorser, and Dust."
Rocky gets up. "This one, is the Psyko. In other words, the Psychic Knock Out."

"They are your new security. Now continue on with classes." Tom cuts it short. The students rose from their seats, and went back into their classes. Tom looks at the group. "You guys too. All supers are going into the practice room, with the virtual helmets. Mutants are going to the courtyard, and the magics are going to the library. Rocky, you will go with the supers. Keep your suits on. No one must know who you are."

Ling, and a few other teachers were in the library, handing out students books.
"These are your diaries. You will need to record every interesting event in your life. Starting with today. I believe many of you would like to write down your stories in the games." Ling snapped her fingers and plumes appeared inside of the book. "Oh after you are done writing, if you read your story, your voices will speak from the book. Now, start writing."
