Athena stayed at the Hera Palace the whole day until William said that he had something else to do and need to leave. She also knew that Uriel won't be returning home early, so with nothing better to do, Athena could only go to her other businesses, including her newly acquired restaurant, and do some inspection..

But as she strolled her way to her jewelry shop, she suddenly heard crashing noises from behind her.

"What the hell?" Athena murmured, looking behind and witnessed a messy situation.

A man groaning like he was in pain, is tossing and turning while cradling his bloodied arm. Surrounding him were crates that were used to carry the spilled vegetables and a few people, an older woman, and a teenage boy, asking him if he's all right.

Looking at the wounded arm, she sighed softly and pulled out a plain handkerchief.

Honestly, it was a good thing that she brought the cheap one today. If it were one of her favorite custom ones, she's afraid that she'll have to rip off a part of her dress.

.....

No, wait. Her dresses are much more valuable than those handkerchiefs. She then tried imagining her dresses be ripped apart like how it is tearing her heart to pieces.

Goosebumps ran over her neck as she shook her head at the horrid thought.

Athena then approached the man carefully and seeing her coming close, the man shrieked loudly.

"AAHH!"

Oh fucking shi-! Was he trying to scare her to death?!

Athena pulled away abruptly while patting down her frantically beating heart. Then she look around and saw the mob of people coming in curiosity about what was happening.

Knowing that it will be bad if she got involve any longer, or leaving the man howling in pain and fright, she once again came close to him.

"Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you so..."

"I'M SO SORRY!"

Athena paused.

"Ex...Cuse me...?"

Wailing even louder, the man got on his knees and begged. "Please forgive me for bumping onto you!"

But the man didn't touch her at all though...

Then everything clicked after that one thought. Athena scoffed once then laughs in disbelief at this.

Goddamnit. Why does she always encounter these types of people?

"I didn't mean for this to happen." The man continues to wail. "I was not looking to where I'm going. My noble lady, I deserve to die!" Then he made his head lay on the ground, still cradling his wound.

"Then die." Athena look down on him with glinting cold eyes. "Bastards like you don't deserve to live anyway."

The woman beside the man shot a look at Athena. "How could you say that?! Don't you see that he's injured?! He even apologized to you! How can a woman be so cruel?!"

Murmurs of contempt towards Athena then sounded around them.

"Maybe she had done this before. Pitting people to their deaths with those words. Where's the Yard when you need them anyway?!" The boy looks around for the officers before glancing back at the man. "Don't worry big brother, everything will be all right."

"Not only that, we need compensation! You injured my son and wasted our vegetables that we're supposed to sell!" The old woman said with a shrill voice but the man held her back.
