Seonghwa and Yunho spontaneously decided they wanted to go to Bongeunsa after taking a ton of photos at the aquarium. Hongjoong was also excited, as he came from a Buddhist family (but considers himself to be too corrupted to practice any religion now). They passed by the statue of the Venerable Bowoo and 2 (closed) shops as they enter the main gate.

Yoohyeon called Yunho to inform him that she and Minji are making something nice for dinner and that he should invite Seonghwa over, stating he can even sleep at their house if he wants since his classes are done remotely. Seonghwa politely declined the invitation to stay the night but he would love to have dinner with them.

Yunho insisted Hongjoong should come along too, his mothers love it when he brings home a new friend.

"Don't worry! We have lots of blood food at home. Mom won't have you for dinner!" Yunho jokes(?).

Hongjoong involuntarily shudders, recalling the way Yoohyeon's eyes devoured him as if he was nothing more than a piece of meat. Him going to Yoohyeon's home is akin to a hare hopping into a fox's den like a free meal.

"Aunt Minji says Yuyu takes after Aunt Yoohyeon, and Yuyu isn't scary, is he? So don't be scared of Aunt Yoohyeon." Seonghwa tries to reassure him. It looks like Hongjoong will just have to swallow his fear down for his beloved.

Bongeunsa is a safe location for anyone to visit, but Seonghwa feels a bit uneasy. It's too quiet. The temple isn't exactly the most popular tourist destination in Seoul, but it's a place of worship for Buddhists and is popular enough to attract locals who want to take a quiet stroll. Perhaps this is one of those rare days where they get the entire place to themselves, but he feels something amiss.

Yunho must be feeling it too. He's more sensitive to vampiric presence than Seonghwa, something he inherited from Minji. While Hongjoong is busy taking in the sights, the younger vampire is sticking close to Seonghwa. Hongjoong's sensory ability pales in comparison to them so he's undisturbed by the lack of human presence, in fact, he likes it.

They were heading to the Dharma Hall when a strong gust sweeps over them. It's so powerful, Seonghwa and Yunho held onto each other so they don't topple over. Hongjoong, who was admiring the monk's stupas, is knocked down.

"T-This isn't normal wind! Someone is using magic!" Yunho exclaims as they're enveloped by the whirlwind. "Hyung! Use your Second Sight!"

"My what?!" as far as Seonghwa knows, he doesn't have that kind of power. Yunho says something but he couldn't hear it past the wind's roar.

Suddenly, he feels someone grab him by his hoodie, forcefully pulling him away from Yunho. As Seonghwa turns to see who it is, Yunho is whisked away, a shadowy figure holding him by the waist. A wind tunnel takes them west of the Dharma Hall and Seonghwa tries to go after them, pushing against the wind trying to knock him down, but someone grabs onto his own waist and he too is flown through a wind tunnel in the opposite direction.

Seonghwa desperately struggled against the person holding him, twisting and flailing around. He's so focused on Yunho that he forgot about Hongjoong, who is also being sent flying through a wind tunnel.

Evening | Parking Lot, Bongeunsa

Hoseok jogs over to Shinwon and Hyunwoo, who are sitting on a bench, sharing some donuts they bought from COEX Mall.

"Has it started?" Hyunwoo asks.

"Yup. Queen Siyeon hired some experts. Looks like the kids are in for a rough night." Hoseok comments, taking a chocolate frosted donut from the box. "Queen Minji is gonna take this off our paycheck, I can feel it."
