Chapter 3 ~ Team Minato!

KAKASHI'S POV

today is the day.. team minato's meeting.

i woke up early cuz.. well.. my kid self was never late. jeaz this is such a drag... i'm starting to think i'm a half nara or something..

So i went to clean up and went down stairs to grab breakfast. When i was down i found a note saying that dad(i'm still not used to it) was going on a mission and will be back hopefully in a week.

Well i don't mind of course, he does that a lot when i was a kid. And since now im technically a grown up i didn't worry about it. All i know is that i need to get ready for that mission.

I don't really know the details of the mission, no one ever told me and since dad returned as a failure he never told me.

I went out to the training spot of my old team, training ground 3. And as i suspected I'm first, great. If i wasn't first i might get the others suspicion.

I walked towards the base if a tree at the training ground and jumped up to one of the branches. I set there in a relaxed positioned looking to at the clouds(seriously though, am i half nara or something, first the 'what a drag' and now cloud gazing). I have planed on getting the others to get stronger too, since it'll make my job on protecting them much easier.

For rin, senbon would be perfect since she is a medical ninja and all. I think obito would do great as a ninjutsu specialist since he does have a lot of chakra.

I pretty much continue that line of thinking for about 10 minutes when rin finally arrived.

"Good morning kakashi-kun!" She said as she walked closer. I just gave a nod to acknowledge her presence. She was a bit surprised since i usually just ignore her but, you gotta start some where right? So i gotta be good little by little so it doesn't seems suspicious.

A couple of minutes later minato-sensei arrived in a usual flash of yellow. "Morning sensei!" Said rin. And as a respond minato-sensei gave a smile and a nod "morning rin, kakashi. We'll need to wait for obito to start so we can start training." He said as we both gave a nod.

I already could tell that minato-sensei is surprised by my cooperative respond. Usually i would complain about obito being late and just start training without him. Seems minato-sensei didn't give to much thought about it since he just gave both of us a smile, thats good.

For about an hour or 2... We waited at the tree in the training ground. me at the branch, minato-sensei and rin at the bottom of the tree.

"Sorry! Am i late!?" He said screaming as he came running towards us.

"You see there was an-" he tried to make one of his excuses but i cut him off jumping down from the branch that i was sitting.

"Right, save your excuses. Lets just start already." I said. He seems mad but didn't bother to continue and just ran to minato-sensei.

"Alright today we are going to be training chakra control to walk on trees." He said. I already able to do that but let's not get suspicious.

After that we spent the entire day training on various chakra control exercises.

"Alright. That's enough for today. You can go home now." He said ending the day.

As we were going just about outside of minato-sensei's earshot i called them.

"What do you want bakakashi?" He asked in his annoyed tone.

"Obito, don't be rude!" Said rin looking at obito.

"Whatever" said obito looking away from rin while crossing his arm infront of his chest, embarrassed.

"I was just wondering if rin might be interested in using senbon. Since she is a medical ninja she would know the perfect spots to hit." I said as i took out a book on beginners at the art of senbon. And giving it to rin.

"Thank you kakashi-kun! I'll check it out and see if I'll be able to use it!" She said taking the book from my hand. As i gave her a short nod.

"H-hey what about me?" Said obito. As i expected he would be interested if it ment he could get stronger infront of rin.

"Here. You chakra levels and stamina are above average so you could be a jutsu specialist." I said as i took out another book about jutsu to obito.

"W-wait did you just compliment me?" He said while taking the book and looking at me suspiciously.

I shrugged. "I'm only telling the truth."

"This is suspicious. Why would you care about us?" He said again.

"Obito-kun, don't be like that! Kakashi-kun is being nice, right?" She said looking at me.

I shrugged again. "It would be better if you guys get stronger so you won't be a burden for minato-sensei." I said rudely. I'm not lying. They are weak right now so it would be so much better if they could get stronger faster than they were at my my world.

After that we all went our separate ways.

I've never been so thankful for my anbu training in my whole life. Thanks to the training, i Didn't gave away any suspicious emotion.. i think..
