[[A/N: I apologize for the author's note here, but I warn you there's a semiAdult scene in this chapter]]
***Jen'sPointOfView***
Oh my fucking God! He kissed me! And I kissed back! I didn't understand why I was doing it, but I knew I wasn't going to stop. I felt his grip around my wrist loosen as he kissed me. He let my hand go and wrapped his arms around my waist, I did the same to his shoulders. I soon felt my feet lift off the ground, he had lifted me. I just let it happen, because deep down...I knew I like it. Drake set me down on the bed and continued to kiss me, kneeling down on his knees.
I gasped as he moved to my neck and left small kisses all over it. I leaned my head back, biting my lip softly. I snuck my hands behind his neck and untied his apron, he smirked and undid the knot, taking it off. I smiled but soon gasped at the feeling of his gloves hand finding its way under my shirt. It felt cold on my stomach as he traced my muscle indent, but it felt great.
Just as I leaned in to kiss him, I heard Alec calling for me from outside. I panicked and pushed my way past Drake, he scrambles to get his apron back on. "Jen!? Jen!?" I heard Alec shout, I quickly snuck outside and ran as fast as I could to get to where Alec was. It was pretty easy, who wouldn't be able to spot an elderly black man in a non colorful park? He seemed relieved to see me. I mean, I had dissapeared the night before anyway. "What happened? Where'd you go?" Alec asked, a worried look on his face.
"I um..." I said quietly, "I was out late looking for clues...and my gun ran out of bullets." I held up a handful of bullet shells I had in my pocket along with my gun. Alec nodded. "I see. I understand how your gun would run out of bullets, I had a run in with quite a few disturbing creatures."
"Same."
Alec motioned for me to follow him, I didn't want to leave Drake but...I didn't want to lose my job either. I felt awful. But you know, work is work. Was I falling for him? I had no idea. But I knew it couldn't end well. Seeing as though I was a human girl, and he was a huge beasty beast. So I tried to wipe it from my mind and keep my mind set on mission. A
lec handed me a package of ammo and I reloaded my gun. "C'mon, we need to get going." Alec said. "No! I mean uh-" I said, "I wanna stay and keep looking, you can tell everyone at the office that I'm devoted to this case." I gave a nervous smile and Alec giggled. "Well okay, be safe."
"I will, don't worry."
Alec left and I continued looking around the park. I needed to keep my mind off of Drake, I needed to find more stuff for the investigation. I had to get my mind out of the gutter, but I couldn't stop thinking about Drake. Especiallyafter that mental break down he had. And even more, the fact that we almost did the do. Not to mention, that Ring Master guy he mentioned. You know, the man on the poster from before? Yeah, but I was afraid of running into him and not being able to leave. I was scared, I kept my pace fast as I walked. I wanted to run, but I didn't want to draw to much attention to myself with all of these so called "Monsters" around. I kept my gun in my right hand, in case I needed to shoot anybody while walking. Maybe things will start making sense soon. Until then.
I've got the gun,
I've got the ammo,
Who's my target?
