Chapter 6 - Freedom at last

*Claire's POV*

Waking up I could feel something warm against me. Opening my eyes I started to remember where I was. I went to sit up but something was holding me down. I looked down to see an arm wrapped around my stomach. My cheeks lit on fire as I realized that the arm belonged to wilbur.

Gently, I got out of Wilbur's grasp trying not to wake him. Opening the door, I looked out to see the two Guards from last night still there. "Oh good morning Claire," one of the said. "Good morning, I just woke up and think I should go back to my own room," I replied, smiling at them, they smiled back as I walked off.

When I got to my room I had a quick wash and got changed for work. Just then a knock at my door woke me from my thoughts, "come in!" I said. "Hello again, Prince Wilbur would like you to meet him in the royal garden, he said you would know where?" I smiled and nodded, he left and I looked at myself in the mirror quickly before I left for the garden.

*Third person POV*

Once Claire made it to the tree she saw Wilbur sitting there with his eyes closed. "Good morning," Claire said, trying not to blush after remembering how she woke up. Wilbur opened his eyes, looked up at her and then got up and hugged her without saying anything.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, hugging back Claire replied, "why are you sorry?" he pulled let go of her and looked into her green eyes. "i'm just sorry you had to live through all the horrible women put you through, but don't worry your safe now, she has been locked away in prison for abuse,"

Claire let out a gasp and clasped her hands over her mouth, tears filled her eyes. She was free. She practically jumped on Wilbur,"thank you," she whispered into his chest. Wrapping his arms around her he said, "your welcome,"

Claire pulled back, "Oh my god. I'm free! Woooo!" she said spinning around, Wilbur smiled at her, cute, he thought. She stopped to look at him and smiled the brightest smile he had ever seen.

The moment was ruined by a certain loud child, "Wilbur! Wilbur! Help me! Techno's chasing me!" Claire and Wilbur whipped their heads around to see Tommy running away from a very angry looking Technoblade.

Tommy grabbed onto Claire for dear life and hid behind her, "Tommy!" Techno's voice boomed, "ooooh shit," he said, sinking behind Claire more. "Whoah!" Wilbur said stopping Techno, "what did Tommy do this time?" Wilbur said, sighing.

Techno proceeded to explain how Tommy spilled red paint all over techno's work. Claire couldn't help but smile at how Wilbur protected Tommy and how the sibling fights worked. After Wilbur resolved everything, techno turned to leave but noticed Claire. "Oh, hello, I'm Technoblade," she bowed and said, "hello, I'm Claire." Techno looked at Wilbur and said, "aah so you're the famous we've heard so much about." Claire looked at Wilbur, "aww Will, do you talk about me?" she said smiling. Wilbur blushed and looked away.

 "Please, he never shuts up about you." Claire turned around to Tommy who just spoke, she looked back at Wilbur and giggled, "it's ok wilbur, no need to be embarrassed."

Everyone started laughing. Apart from Wilbur he stood there glaring at his brothers. The four of them continued to talk and Claire got to know Tommy and techno better, but then Clair remembered, " oh shoot i completely forgot about work!" she said, clasping her hands over her mouth.

"Don't worry I talked to your boss, you've got the week off to recover. speaking of recovery, we need to get you to the physician," Wilbur said, taking Claire's hand and they started to the physician, "bye! Nice meeting you!" Claire yelled to Techno and Tommy.
