Eleven

A/N: REY'S DREESSSSS AAAAAHHHH I AM DYING 

Kylo: 

Rey opted to go with me to meet with her father, but I told her it wasn't necessary. 

She is training in the soldier's field right now when I come to King Laurrent's study doors. 

Queen Andila is walking towards me, and smiles. "Kylo." 

I bow. "Your Majesty." 

She shakes her head. "None of that. It's not necessary for someone who is becoming a part of my daughter's life." 

Markel is storming towards us, and is a millisecond away from fighting me, when Andila fixes him with a look, and he sighs. 

"IF you hurt my sister, you answer to me. If you even dare to break her heart, you will pay the price." 

Andila smiles proudly at him, and I feel fear engulf me. 

Now I see why Rey wanted to come with me. 

Andila opens the doors and as we enter, I look at the room in amazement. 

The study is two stories tall, with books lining the walls, except for the desk, where a beautiful wall of windows opens up to the city beyond. 

The room is light, and beautiful, and a fireplace keeps an open flame, where there are two couches that face one another. 

King Laurrent is sitting on one of the couches, and perched on the armrest of one of the couches, is Rey. 

"Rey, you don't have to be here." I say, and she squeezes my hand. 

"Believe me, you won't survive being alone with my Father and brother. Sure, you'll have my Mother, but even still." 

She glares at her brother who gives her a grin. 

Queen Andila sits next to her husband, and Markel stands behind them, arms crossed, like a loyal guardian. 

I sit on the couch, and King Laurrent looks at me stonily. 

"Well?" Andila asks her husband and he narrows his eyes. 

"My daughter claims she loves you, and you love her. Is that true?" He asks sharply, and fear engulfs my bones. 

I look at Rey and she gives me a comforting smile. 

I look back at King Laurrent. "Yes, Your Highness. I love your daughter more than my own life. I would go down for her if need be." 

He looks mildly impressed. "I should hope so. My daughter is more precious than life itself, and I would stand in the way of death for her to live. Would you do the same?" 

Andila glares at him. "He already answered that." 

"What are your plans with my sister?" Markel asks, and Rey rolls her eyes, muttering under her breath "oh for gods sake." 

I hear Andila do the same, and bite down a grin. 

"Prince Markel, I don't know my plans with Rey. But I know that I love her, and that she is my match in every way." 

I look at her, and she smiles. 

"She is my entire life now, and I've found my equal in life."

She blinks back tears, and looks at her father. 

"Father, I already told you. We love each other and.. we're mated." 

"You're WHAT?!" Markel shouted at the same time as King Laurrent yelled out in shock.
