Imogen  p.o.v

“well... tell us then ims and don’t you dare lie.” Rose threatened me. You see even though Rose is the quiet one she’s still scary at times. I stopped driving the car and turned to look at her. i might as well just tell them the truth. Okay here goes nothing.

“ Liam is he’s...well you see Liam...Liam is my mate but i rejected him!” i spat out. Well I’m great at telling the truth aren’t i. Yes yes i am. Well i sort of did reject him didn’t i. Oh well!

Rose looked at me with a shocked expression. Her eyes and mouth open wide.

“sis how could you reject him. I mean have you seen his mansion and oh god he must be loaded and Ims HE’S THE BLOODY ALPHA! How could you reject him?” Ty rambled.

“ Ty would you please shut up. You don’t know anything about mates.!” Rose scolded him.

“oii I’m older than you missy. Don’t talk to me like that before i tell dad oh and just to let you know i found my mate so HAH!” Ty argued back.

“oh how mature Ty how very mature.” Rose replied. I started the car again and began driving. Rose and Ty were arguing with each other not realising that i just confessed that Liam is my mate. Once we got home i parked the car and quickly got out with Ty and Roe trailing behind me.

“Hey rose why are we arguing again?” Ty asked. Now this was my cue to run upstairs and lock myself in my room. And so i ran up before my siblings realising why they were arguing.

After safely entering my room i locked the door and slumped on my bed. As far as i know i need to somehow make my mate fall in love with me. I need him to come back to me. He will be mine.

Colton p.o.v

“you’re my mate.” I finally said to Serene.

“i know.” we were still staring at each other.

“wait you’re my sisters mate?” Liam said.

“took you long enough to realise.” Serene commented back. A small smile escaped my lips.

“but you can’t have a mate that lives in another country serene.”

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN? SHE’S MY MATE SHE LIVES WITH ME!” i yelled. I saw Serene flinch and hide back away from me.

Liam walked to me keeping his head high.

“don’t talk to me like that. You’re in my territory you do not raise your voice at me.” i apologised and closed my eyes for 10 seconds to relax.

“listen Liam, me and you are in the same situation at the moment. I need my mate so i can go back to England and take over my dads pack and the same goes for you, you also need a mate to officially become alpha of this pack. I will take great care of your sister and love her more than anything. I will make her the best luna ever. I’ll treat her just right. I promise.” My eyes met serene’s watery ones.

“i know we’re mates and i know we’re suppose to stay with each other forever but i can’t leave my family here and move to some place where i know no one. I’m sorry Colton but it’s too hard.”  Serene wiped away her tears as i walked up to her. I cupped her cheek and looked into her chocolate brown eyes.

“serene we have time babe. We’ll take things slow. I’ll give you all the time you want. Just give me a chance please.” I begged. She nodded her head slowly and kissed my cheek. I felt my whole body tingle with sensation. The art of soul mates.

“I’m going home now because i can’t trust my younger siblings alone at home so i’ll see you tonight. Goodbye.” I kissed her cheek and left the mansion.

“YOU CAN’T JUST KISS ME LIKE THAT! YOU REJECTED ME REMEBER!” I screamed at Liam.

“Well you have no right to come into my mansion and nearly kiss my best friend knowing your mates in the same room.” he said calmly.

“EX-mate.” I corrected.

“I never rejected you Imogen i clearly said that i don’t want to be tied down into a relationship just yet.”

“Well too bad because Bradley asked me out on a date and I’m pretty sure he’ll ask me to be his girlfriend so...”

“I will never let that happen.” Liam sneered.

“You want a bet?” i challenged.
