Chapter 3

"Uncle, we have come here to help farmers solve this herbal problem.Can you take us there at night?"
The old man nodded as he was grateful for their helps.

They got ready to see the farms.The old man was heading ahead showing the path.When they reached almost there

"Here, be quiet! The ghosts may hear you!"
The old man warned them, shivering thingking about seeing ghosts now.

Wei ying and wen ning nodded.
They waited until they heard a strange voices  and after a minute ,few black shadows were seen.

The shadows were actually men wearing black cloth and masks covering their faces.

They went near the water center every farmer took water from their, pulled a bag and poured all of its content inside water.

The man pouring the powder had a eagle sign on his wrist.They hurriedly ran away from there and voices were cut immediately.

The farmer was shocked"what!they.."
"Uncle ! Let's go check what did they pour?"
They took sone of the light yellow powder that
was on ground.

"Send this to wen qing!ask her to tell us as soon as possible what is it!" Wei ying gave him the powder.
"Uncle! Don't tell anyone about this! we will solve it for sure!" Wei ying reassured him.

Wei ying stayed that day in farmer's house as the farmer was insisting him he should stay with them.

Tomorrow

It was evening, wen ning reached the house.He wanted to bow to wei ying but he prevented it as always.

"It is poison , not good for herbal plants specially." Wen ning informed.
"What??" Old farmer said.Now they were realizing why the prices were high.

"We must follow them." Wei ying told to wen ning.
Wei ying and wen ning waited for shadows, like yesterday they poured powder and ran away.They both followed the shadows to see them gathering in a cave.

The shadows joined other ones wearing black like them .Their wrist had a eagle sign all of them. Wei ying pointed to their wrist quietly and wen ning caught quickly what he meant.

The shadows after exchanging money and more powder split.Wei ying told wen ning " Both of us can't go after one of them.Go and inform bingwen to gather some of our soldiers and catch the shadows alive, tell it is my order they should check this town's ruler for finance corruption and arrest him for making chaos.Take wen qing here also for solving the poisonous water."

Wen ning protested" but master!It isn't safe to follow them lonely.I can't leave you alone!"
Wei ying smiled at him" Did you forget who I am? Don't worry! We can't miss this opportunity, i will inform you from my whereabouts.Hurry , don't wast the time!"

Wen ning unwillingly did as he told.Wei ying followed the main shadows closely not being noticed by them.The shadows moved from one city to another finally getting out of the jiang kingdom,Wei ying saw them entered Wuzhen town.

It was a border town of Wen kingdom.
They entered an inn, wei ying disguised his cloth by the ones he bought to seem normal.
