Next day
Wei ying was still unconscious.His father would visit him repeatedly but as he had the country's tasks he would come and go.
The emperor had forbidden anyone to let out what happened yesterday outside.So no one knew about the fuss except his guards and his family.
Today, the king of lan country and the empress and the two jade prince of lan would come to discuss an important issue .
King jiang could have guessed why they had come personally.The wens had caused a lot of problems for both countries and now thinking of attacking to Jiangs and Lans.It was reported that number of soldiers in wen border had increased highly.From other side thought of wei ying made him sigh desperately.
His son , wei ying was the most capable general in his country and they needed him the most now.
Wei ying opened his eyes slightly .His head was feeling awfully heavy.The light was so much that he covered his eyes with his hand and tried to remember what happened.
Queen Yu saw him getting up and told her daughter to call a doctor.
"Wei ying, dear!!"
"Mom!" Wei ying looked confused at her .he couldn't think straight as he had headache.
"You fainted yesterday!you had a high fever!"
Madam yu caressed his hair.
Wei ying leaned more to his mother's touch feeling warmth.
Suddenly he remembered he wanted to go see lan zhan and he fought then fainted.
Wei ying looked worriedly at her " lan zhan!"
"Wei ying ! Please don't do this with yourself! I am worried about you!" Queen yu wiped her own tears.
"You brat!you woke up ! I will break your legs if you behave like a crazy person again!!! " jiang cheng entered, getting closer to him.Madam Yi pulled back a little.Jiang cheng came forward angrily.Wei ying closed his eyes waiting for the punch but instead he was melted in his brother's hug.
"You dumb boy ! We were all worried about you! Never do that again!" Jiang cheng confessed.
Wei ying put his hand on his back and hugged him too " Brother! I won't ask for anything but....I just want him!" Tears were dropping from his eyes covering his face.
Jiang cheng pulled back "Rest for now! We have guests from lan country .The king and his family has personally came here to discuss about war with wens"
Wei ying's attention diverted."war with wens! I will come too!"
"No son you aren't in good health!" Madam yu asked seeing his son's face was pale.
"Mother is right rest for now!" Jiang cheng
"As the general I should come back to my duty again!" Wei ying insisted.
"..huff ... okey .. there is no need to come for greeting them .You will see them when we have discussions in father's quarter.look after yourself! I should go now they will come soon!" Jiang cheng gave up as he couldn't persuade his brother.
After doctor examined him again
"The second prince is having low fever.It won't be a problem but he shouldn't overdo .He should rest completely!"
Doctor exited from the room.

The jiang king and his wife with crown prince went to greet the lan king and his family.
"Welcome to our kingdom! Lan Emperor!"
Jiang king greeted him warmly.
"It is our pleasure to meet Jiang kingdom!"
Lan king answered him friendly.
"Queen Yu and crown prince Jiang cheng and my daughter princess yanli!"
Jiang fengmian pointed to his wife and his children .
"I heard you have two son !"
"He was not feeling good !You will meet him later!"
"She is my queen and lan xichen my older son , he is the crown prince and lan wangji my second son!"
Jiang emperor led them personally to his chamber.
Wei ying got up hardly.He called out one of wen ning who was waiting outside.
"Can you help me get ready?"
"Yes second prince!"
With wen ning's help he got dressed formally in his prince rope.Wei ying tried to ignore his headache and his body exhaustion.He hadn't much strength but tried to walk steadly without anyone's help.
Wei ying got out of the room toward his father chamber.

In jiang king's chamber
It was declared "Second prince has come!"
Wei ying entered , his head down a little and his focus on his own family
"Greeting father!"bowed to his father.
He then turned to lan king bowing
"Greeting the lan king!" Wei ying turned next to the lan king " greeting lan queen " they smiled back at him.
Wei ying turned to great the crown prince that he saw lan zhan. Time had stopped and he became silent and shocked.Lan zhan had his head down but when he heard him stop he looked up to see wei ying shocked.
Just two words come out of wei ying's mouth in a whisper
"Lan zhan!"
Everyone looked at them both surprised how did they know each other.
"Wei ying!" Lan zhan stood up immediately seeing wei ying here.
Wei ying's tears were streaming.His lan zhan , lan zhan was here.What he was doing here.He couldn't stand the shook and fell on the ground. Lan zhan saw his teary eyes and rushed toward him to catch him in time.
Lan zhan hold him in his embrace.
"Wei ying!You! Here!"
"Lan zhan! I am sorry I couldn't come!"
"Wei ying don't cry! I waited for you but your subordinate came and told me you were not well.
Are you okey? What happened? Why are you so pale?"
Lan zhan wiped wei ying's tears while asking worriedly.
"You are a lan prince?"  Wei ying asked.
Lan zhan cupped his face with one hand other supporting his waist" yes I am .So you are also the second prince of jiangs but you told me you are wei ying!" Lan zhan curiously looked at him.
"Only My family call me that!"
Jiang king interrupted them and came forward
"Are you the lan zhan wei ying mentioned?"
The lan family shocked that beside them there was someone calling their son lan zhan as it was his birth name and is he the person their son asked permission about.
Wei ying got out of his embrace and blocked his father's way almost hiding lan zhan behind himself.
"Father!please!I will personally accept any punishment!"Wei ying pleaded with his eyes not to say anything or do to lan zhan.
Before he could say anything Lan king came forward "Jiang king I would appreciate it if you would allow us to talk about this matter first!"
Jiang king nodded his head
"Stand up" told toward wei ying.
Wei ying wanted to stand up but his legs were shaking and his face was obviously pale.
It wasn't hidden from lan zhan's eyes and he supported wei ying , grabbing his waist and hand to help him stand up.
" thanks lan zhan!" Wei ying smiled faintly at him.his mind was exploding from all of this events and truth he found out.
Lan zhan looked back at him warmly.
"Mn"
