King jiang dismissed everyone except jiang cheng , wei ying and the lan family.
King jiang stood up and got closer to wei ying

"Stand up!"

"Father!" Jiang cheng tried to calm him.

"Your highness!" Queen Yu who had heared everything had came

"Didn't you hear ! Stand up!" King jiang shouted angrily that no one dared to say anything.

Wei ying stood up ,looking at his father directly.
Before anyone could meddle, king jiang slapped wei ying harshly that he fell behind on the floor.

Blood was dripping from corner of wei ying's mouth and his face had red mark of his father's hand.

"Father!"

"Your highness!" Queen Yu tried this time to stop him

"Your highmess! Lan zhan worriedly called him.
He couldn't watch wei ying getting hit.

Wei ying stood up again despite the injury that started playing with him.He got closer again and stood in the same place again.

"I will get punished willingly!" Wei ying declared
King jiang was exploding from anger and slapped him on the other side of the face fiercely.

"Shut up!How can I punish my own son??!!!how could I give you with my two hands to them to get revenge on you!"

Wei ying hardly stood up again.

"Go bring the Z group here!If you bring them I can have a excuse to free you from them!"

"Father!I can't do that and you can't find them either.They won't show up without my command and I will take responsibility as their leader!"

Palace yard

Everyone was looking at wei ying waiting for punishment.
Weng lei announced as a representative

"Today, second prince would get punished instead of z group.The punishment is taking 50 whip infront of everyone as it would be lesson for others."

Wei ying kneeled and two big men stood behind him with thick sticks in their hands.

Lan zhan couldn't stand it and interrupted them
"I will take the punishment instead of him!"
Wei ying refused and said seriously
"I will take the punishment as it is agreed.Lan zhan please don't get yourself involved because of me.I can't hurt you!" Wei ying looked at him begging him not to get himself in trouble.

Lan zhan could easily understand what he meant.
King lan took him back" don't make it hard for him.He has decided already!"

Lan zhan didn't reply and was exploding from inside.He hated that he couldn't save his beloved.

"Start!" Weng lei shouted.

The first hit was loud enough but wei ying resisted not making a sound or shaking much.

The two men were hitting harshly as they were bribed by Weng lei to whip fiercely.Wei ying clenched his teeth not to shout from pain.His eyes were teary and he looked down.

"F-Forty ..two" he could feel wetness on his back but his abdomen injury had reopened and the floor was starting to get bloody.The next hit was so hard that he couldn't tolerate anymore and shouted in pain
