Chapter 35

Lan zhan rode toward the Wei country quickly as soon as he heard about wei ying, missing.He was feeling nervous, there was a possibility that three of them had fallen to the valley.

His heart was aching thinking something happened to his wei ying.He reached there as fast as possible, moving nonstop.

Lan zhan reached
"Where?!" He asked wen qing waiting there for help.

She pointed to the valley" from here!"
Lan zhan and his subordinates went to bottom of the valley from a side way.

Wei ying

He was feeling pain all over his body.He tried to open his heavy eyes. He opened them slightly looking at his surroundings.

He was on the dry side of bottom of valley while there was a river crossing from middle.He had fallen inside the river fortunately or he would have died definitely.

And the stream of river threw them toward the dry side.

He tried to sit, jiang cheng and his uncle were some distance far away from him near the river.
As he wanted to stand up, his injured shoulder hurt a lot.

He looked closely and his wound had reopened again.It didn't matter as there were other important things.

Wei ying approached his brother, checking his pulse, it was normal and he was alive

"Brother!! Jiang cheng!" He started waking him up by slapping his face not too hard. Jiang cheng shook his head slightly, coughing water and opening his eyes.

"Wei ying! " Jiang cheng was glad his brother was alive.wei ying went to his uncle checking him, jiang cheng pulled himself there too.

"Is he alive?!" Jiang cheng worriedly asked
"His pulse us weak, help me make him cough water!"

They both put pressure in his stomach, making him cough.

As soon as he let out water from his mouth he got conscious

"Thanks god!" Wei ying hugged him, happy he was alive.Jiang cheng hugged both of them too.

"Where... are..we?" His uncle (his uncle's name is wei yang, wei ying's name was taken from his name, similar to his name) asked, looking confused.

"We fell from the cliff and fortunately there was a river , that's why we are alive now" jiang cheng said pulling back himself.

Wei ying's shoulder was hurting and he pulled back ,not to make it obvious he was injured.

"I am happy both of you are alive,I don't know what should I do if anything happens to you both!" Their uncle looked warmly at them , shocking them.

Wei ying's eye became teary
"You mean, you don't hate us anymore or see us as a stranger?" He asked innocently.

Wei Yang hugged both of them " I am sorry for my behavior, I did not mean to break your heart! you both are my precious nephews!"
Jiang cheng cried in his embrace "uncle!"

Wei ying was feeling overwhelmed knowing his uncle was warming up to them again. People notice each other's value in crucial time, on the edge of losing them.

"We should get going and find a place to stay, it us getting darker!" Uncle looked at the trees surrounding them from one side.

All of them got up and started searching for a place.
"Here! There is a cave!" Jiang cheng finally found a place.

The uncle and the nephew followed him.There was a cave hidden behind the tall trees.It was big cave, enough for them to shelter themselves from animals.

They stated collecting stick and stones.
Wei ying and jiang cheng made a little fire while their uncle put more stick to make it bigger.

When they finished they sat by the fire's side, warming themselves.Wei ying felt his body heady slightly but he thought it was just because he was close to fire.

"Wen ning and wen qing would definitely find us we should just stay for a day and we can find our way back to up." Wei ying lied on the ground toward the fire.

"Let's get some rest first! Tomorrow we would get out of here" Jiang cheng lied on the other side of the fire.

Lan wangji

The subordinates were divided everywhere, searching a region.Lan zhan was so worried, he was feeling like his heart was hearting.wei ying! Where are you? He didn't want to lose his wei ying,they had encountered a lot of difficulties.

Wei ying was his life, lan zhan couldn't imagine a world without wei ying.please! Wei ying wait for me , i will find you soon! They have been searching all night.The sun was rising and they could not find them yet.

"Master! Master! We found them!" One of the subordinates was running toward him.
"Show the way!" Lan zhan went after him.
Lan zhan saw other subordinates around the cave.He hurriedly got inside but he froze instantly as soon as he saw...

Uncle( wei yang)
He woke up , seeing that the sun had already rised. Jiang cheng was still sleeping and wei ying too.He looked closely at wei ying, his face was red and drops of sweats were covering his face.

He immediately checked his forehead and gasped. Wei ying was burning in heat.

"Jiang cheng!! Jiang cheng!!" He shouted his name. As soon as jiang cheng opened his eyes and saw wei ying in his uncle's embrace, he got alerted.

"What happened ?!" He also checked wei ying's forehead.

"He has a fever!" Uncle worriedly said
Jiang cheng checked his wound on shoulder immediately and saw it had bled from yesterday and now it had got infected "his wound has got infected!"

Uncle knew it was because of himself that wei ying was in this situation and blamed himself
"Go look outside for a help!! Quickly!"

Jiang cheng did as he was told and ran outside maybe he could find someone.

Uncle stayed with wei ying lying in his embrace.
His eyes became teary, he did not want to lose his dear nephew.He could not do anything and he hated how incapable was he now.

His tears were streaming " sorry wei ying! Because of my foolishness you were hurt!" He kissed wei ying's hot forehead, feeling so bad.

He had just reunited with his nephews after so many years and now he had put both of his nephews on the edge of danger.
