As the door slammed behind me, the phone rang. I jogged over to pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Lexie, I'm not asking, I am telling you that you are coming out tonight!" Amber screamed.

"Really?" I laughed

"Yes! Now, get into some sexy thaaangs and be ready for 8:00!"

"Okay! Okay I will!" I put the phone down and wandered upstairs.

Flicking through my wardrobe I found the perfect dress, off the shoulder, deep purple, knee length with a jewelled belt across the waist. I covered my neck with makeup, placing a teardrop pendant around my neck, grabbing my black ballet flats as I answered the door.

I found my friends with their boyfriends, Zoe had Harry, Amber had Andrew, Chloe had Robert, and Jenna had Jonah. I began to feel slightly alone.

We made our way to the club. As soon as I stepped in I felt the beat of the music pulsing under my feet. I immediately ordered myself a drink...and then another...and another. Until my mind was foggy but I still knew my surroundings...sort of...

A hand wrapped around my waist, catching my attention. I spun round to find no other than Avery.

"Dr Jackson Avery, what are you doing here?" I questioned.

"Just testing my luck with a lovely looking brunette" he whispered in my ear.

"Well why don't you come dance with me" I offered. He nodded earnestly.

I pulled him out to the dance floor behind me.

He slid his hands down onto my hips, guiding them from side to side. I gently pressed up against his crotch. I felt his body tense behind me and I giggled through my intoxicated state. And that's when the perfect song came on. Running on sunshine by Jesus Jackson.

My body swayed to the beat. I turned to face him positioning his leg between mine. I ground against him, hearing him exhale heavily. Resting his hands on my arse to pull me closer. My hands flat against his toned chest. I pressed my lips to his ear.

"Why don't we go somewhere less public" I muttered.

"Yes, God yes."

We quickly made our way back to my house.
