Fuck.
My whole body aches bro. Everything hurts. I slowly open my eyes to see pitch black. Huh? I look around and suddenly a light turns on, burning my eyes by the sudden brightness.
"Look who's finally awake after a month." I heard some weirdo say.
A month? Was I in a coma or something? The fuck?
I tried to speak but I couldn't. Something was covering my mouth. Suddenly, duct tape was ripped off of my mouth. Thank god my lipstick doesn't stain or budge.
"Who the fuck are you?" I asked, struggling to get my arms out of the rope that was tied tightly.
"Don't you remember me baby?" He asked, finally coming into the light.
"Aarav?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yeah it's me. Your worst nightmare." He said, trying to look scary.
I looked straight into his eyes and started laughing my ass off.
"What? What's so funny?" He asked, looking at me in confusion.
I just kept laughing.
"Stop fucking laughing!" He said, pointing a gun at me.
I threw my hands up.
"I'm sorry. It's the fact that you said you were going to be my worst nightmare." I said, calming down my laughter.
He immediately shot my left hand and I winced.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" I yelled at him.
"I'm not playing. How the fuck did you even get your hands off the rope?" He asked in confusion.
"Cause you didn't tie them properly." I said, knowing damn well that he tied it really tight.
"You idiotic guards. Can't do one thing right." He started yelling at the people around him.
Good job Nishani. You just bought yourself some time. I quickly got up and grabbed a chain, wrapping it around my hands. The pain in my left hand increased but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I gave birth for goodness sake. That hurt like a bitch.
Aarav looked back at me now standing up and I wrapped the chain around his neck, strangling him. All of his guards started coming at me and I grabbed Aarav's gun and shot them all in one swift movement.
I dragged his ass to the pole I was tied on and I tied him up tightly with the chain. There was no way he would be able to get out. I grabbed a chair and set it right in front of him.
I sat on the chair and grabbed a shirt, ripping it and using the fabric to tie up my injured hand.
"You thought you would be able to hold me hostage. Well now look, you're about to die." I said, putting the gun down and picking up a knife from the floor. I twirled the knife in my hands and looked at him.
"Goodbye." I said softly then stabbed him in the middle of his chest. His blood splattered all over me, staining my silver dress from the ball.
I grabbed a phone that was laying on the floor and checked the date. It actually has been a fucking month. Niroshan probably thinks I'm dead. I miss him. I miss him and Nirusha.
I also decided to check where I am. Holy shit. I'm far away from home. Like, across the world. Fuck. it's gonna take days to get back. I looked around to see if there would be anything helpful to me. Nothing. I grabbed my phone that was in my dress and booked a ticket back home. I would call Niroshan but I didn't want to worry him. Instead, I'm going to surprise everyone.
I left what I'm assuming was the basement and saw a big house. Not as big as mine but big. I looked all around the place for something I could wear and I found an oversized shirt and some sweats. After grabbing the clothes, I entered the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror. The blood stained my clothes and instead of seeing the Nishani that I knew in 11th grade, I saw a murderer. I used to be obsessed with reading mafia books but actually being in one scares me. Just being in a mafia is dangerous. You kill people and torture them. I got kidnapped multiple times. I could easily get arrested. Yeah it makes you super rich but you could easily get rich from other ways. I don't know. I just need to get home.
