Five|The Company-Cosette POV

Cosette's POV~
She ran as fast as she could, trying to find all of her friends but she couldn't. She had to get through the Flat Trans or her life would forever be stuck in W.I.C.K.E.D's hands. Cosette was a part of Group C - W.I.C.K.E.D's first group to be tested on. They started in a maze where Cosette was one of the first to show up in the box. She was a runner.

Moments later, after running she'd finally found the Flat Trans Chancellor Paige had told her about. Except before she could enter, Cosette heard all of her other friends screaming her name. When she looked back, she could see her friends although the roof was falling. She had to leave. It tore her apart on the inside to leave her friends dying but she had too.

Cosette wiped her tears and exited out to the Flat Trans. As soon as she got in, it was like the all of the variables and bad things had never happened to her. She saw paradise. Her senses could smell the beach air and it seemed to Cosette that everything would be alright, that her friends would come back to see her.

Just then, she realized that she looked like a horrible mess so she decided to go and wash up in the beach waves. When she was finished she put on new clothes from her backpack. After, she noticed a man was looking at her in the distance and as soon as he noticed Cosette was looking back, he ran away.

"WAIT! Stop, please I don't want to hurt you!" Cosette hopelessly screamed. She knew he couldn't hear her so she put all of her things back into her backpack and began following him. It was only a few moment of running when she noticed a whole living space. It almost reminded her of life in the maze yet maze-less.

She slowed down and started walking closer to the town until she saw a little boy staring at her.

"H-hi, um I'm new, I guess. Do you mind-," just before Cosette could finish her sentence the boy ran screaming and set off a alarm.

"Great, just my luck," she thought sighing. Everyone was running back to their shack, scared. Cosette decided she'd walk around and check out the place. It was like a ghost town, no one was there. She finally stopped walking and sat down next to the beach waves.

"Well this was fun. Coming to paradise then having people run around like chicken that just got their heads cut off. This is complete and utter bullsh-," Cosette lost her train of thought when she was interrupted and she jumped.

"Who are you?" a boy with dirty blonde hair said with a British like accent. He had brown eyes and was pretty cute, honestly. Along with him was a muscular Asian and his hair was black but had perfection. I finally snapped out of my gaze and answered.

"I'm Cosette. Who are you? And where am I?"

"Well I'm Newt," the boy with the British like accent responded, "and this is Minho." He pointed to the muscular Asian. "We don't actually know where we bloody are but it's definitely different." Newt continued. The way he talked and his looks made Cosette think that she knew him from somewhere.

"Thanks for the obvious, Newt," Minho said rolling his eyes. Damn. He is sassy. "We should probably tell everyone else that it's just one girl." Minho stated.

"Just. One. Girl. Okay, obviously he doesn't have his brain screwed on right to think 'just one girl' won't offend me." Cosette thought. She noticed Newt was going to say something about it but she could stand up for herself, even though his act would have made her blush.

"Wow, you make me sound so weak." Cosette finally answered, glaring at Minho. She noticed Newt smiling which only made her smile on the inside as well. She saw Minho was about to make another sassy comment so instead of fighting back she walked away, knowing she didn't know where she was going. As she was walking she remember her friends, she had a feeling they were coming. So, she turned around and corrected Minho.

"Oh, and I'm not the only one here," and with that Cosette continued to walk away. "At least I'm not the only one coming," she thought.
