Among The Stars - A BTS Fanfic

Chapter 5

It is well after breakfast and almost time to get moving. My eyes are looking at the WiFi symbol for the last 20 minutes. I really need to turn it on before I have to give away my phone to the production team, but I am literally petrified.

Amelia has gone to get some snacks from the shop just around the corner and I am completely alone. My finger now hovers above the screen, and I close my eyes. I decide to count to 7 and just do it while my eyes are still closed.

As I reach number 6 my hands start to shake, I'm afraid I might miss that hit. At 7 I press and let my phone fall against the table. Almost immediately my phone starts to shake uncontrollably, I have to put it on silent or I'm afraid it will overheat.

Taking a deep breath, I gather all my courage and open my eyes. There is no turning back now anyways. The first thing I do is put my phone on silent, then I check my emails. I see the missed email about the pool party by Mr. Hak, there are also a few YouTube emails that I skip, I'll check the reactions in a bit anyways.

First I decided to check the reactions to the boy's video. It premiered about 2 hours after mine. Overall everyone was being nice and positive, it made me braver. The boys seemed very excited about this new show but they were sad they would have no contact with ARMY for a while.They announced as well that their series of game shows would continue to run, as usual, they had pre-recorded some, and others would be recorded from inside the house. They also said they had permission from the production to do some lives, the comments however would be turned off as the contact with the outside world had to be nonexistent.

Then Mr. Hank appears to announce the contestants to the group. They have no idea who the fans would be and apparently, BTS knows some of the fans.

The first fan to be presented was a guy, apparently, it is Suga's childhood best friend who he has lost contact with for many years due to circumstances, Suga had tears in his eyes, and it is very emotional to watch.

Then it was a girl, she has been the BTS's first official fan, from before they officially debuted, she was working for their company and saw them practice daily.

I was getting more and more nervous as contestants kept coming but not me. Finally, it was number 6 and she is currently the president of the fan base, she is gorgeous too. She goes to every single show and is always there to support the boys no matter what the event.

Finally, it was my turn. The boys broke into laughter as my picture came on. Mr. Hak introduces me and the boys admit they know who I am, they have seen a few videos and some even have bets on who is the bias. Jimin makes sure to let everyone know he thinks I am just bluffing and have no bias and that is his bet.

"Well, you guys might actually find that out." Mister Hak says and the boys look at each other.

"Is that her secret?" RM asks looking skeptical.

"Yes it is, and your mission is to find it." JK gasps and Jimin laughs out loud, Suga smirks, and J-hope claps his hands together.

"So our mission is just to uncover her bias?" Jin asks "Does she really want that?"
