Chapter 7

We are all waiting in the living room expectantly. Most people seem annoyed that I woke them up, none of them seem to care if it's their secret or not. I guess they don't believe I found anything.

"Good morning" a voice echoes through the speakers. "When we said anytime, we weren't expecting it to be at this time in the morning."

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure no one else pressed it for the same secret so I did it as soon as I had a chance."

"We barely looked at each other, you think we know anyone's secret yet?" Gi is the one speaking for the group.

"Well, I know." I shrug and smile.

"A confident one." Says the voice. "Go on, tell us what is the secret."

"I don't know what it is exactly," I start, and everyone grunts, but I continue ignoring them. "It will be something similar to I have my ex in the house."

As I finished my sentence the boys started to look surprised one to the other, JK, however, has a small smile on his lips while Jimin was full smirking. The contestants looked bored except for Ae-cha, she was very stiff, her body language telling me I was right.

"And who does this secret belong to Y/N?" The voice asks again.

I keep quiet for effect but finally, I say "This secret belongs to Ae-cha." The contestants gasp. "And to JK." Full screams can be heard now. Ae-cha is as pale as a ghost while JK is now keeping himself composed, although I can still see that faint smile.

"Very well, you can sit down for now Y/N." As I head to sit down the voice calls both JK and Ae-cha up to either confirm or deny their secret.

"JK, you start. Do you confirm or deny?"

"I confirm." He states confidently, no explanation, probably feeling no need to further explain.

"Well, that was anticlimactic, let's hope Ae-cha keeps the suspense going a bit longer." The voice pauses. "Ae-cha, do you confirm or deny?"

"I would like to say first, that I came here to win, and if anything, you all finding out my secret just puts me at an advantage." Me and Jimin snort at the same time, we look at each other and he makes the high 5 gesture to which I comply. We laugh together, this is progress.

"You can laugh all you want," she continues "in the end, my goal is still the same. I want my secret to change. I want to win Jungkook back."

Now I really laugh out loud. I couldn't help it. Jungkook's face of disgust said it all. Not only that but she stepped on ARMY's feet now, they will not be forgiving. I can already see the smoke coming out of Da-Eun.

"Well done Y/N. You uncovered 2 secrets in less than 12 hours. It is a shame you can only find out one more unless you want to reveal yours too?"
"No thanks," I say and then everyone laughs, well everyone except Ae-cha.

"Ae-cha, you will be put for a vote in two weeks. I wish you all a good day." And with that, the TV goes black, with only the show symbol moving around from corner to corner.

We all start getting up. Some of us head back upstairs, and I go to the kitchen to make myself some coffee. I feel someone coming into the kitchen and turn. It is Ae-cha.

"Were we that obvious?" She asks as she grabs a cup for herself.

"In my opinion, yes," I say, feeling a little guilty.

"That's fair." I finished my coffee and she heads to the coffee machine next. "Watch your back, in return I will find out yours too."

"I accepted that before I pressed that button," I say and smile, leaving her alone in the kitchen.
