Chapter 9

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Jin has hands of gold! By the time everyone had come down he had prepared a feast. Never have I eaten so much at breakfast.

The rooms change today and I am sad at the strong possibility I won't be sharing a room with Jimin anymore. We have made a strong connection and, even if it's my mission, I didn't even try that hard.

As it is I was paired in room C with Hana. I was happy about this, we are very close in age and I didn't have the chance to connect with her yet. She seemed excited too when I raised my hand, she quickly grabbed my arm and pulled us towards the suite.

This room is absolutely massive, even more so than I had remembered. We quickly unpack while the old owners of the room came to get their black tie suits out of the closet. They seem closer than the whole week before, maybe they have been reconnecting?

We each head to our previous rooms to pick up our dresses, when I arrive I see Jimin is in his old bed and JK stretched in mine.

"Well, this is a coincidence," I tell JK. "I am in your old room and you are in mine."

"Well, actually we exchanged beds too." He smiles. "You were unpacking next to my bed."

Interesting. Did he change sheets? It feels inappropriate to ask so I remain quiet and just continue to collect the dresses. There are way too many and as I start plundering making 2 trips, Jimin comes and hugs me from behind, placing his chin on my shoulder. "Do you need help?"

"If you don't mind." I give him a sheepish smile through the mirror.

It is now Wednesday and we are currently locked in our bedrooms, not allowed to go out until the staff has prepared the games. I and Hanna am talking about trivial things, mostly about what she has been doing for the past years after leaving Big Hit Entertainment.

She is a very nice and outgoing woman, I wish I had gotten to know her sooner. We have a lot in common too. Her parents also passed away when she was young and she lived with her uncle who was young himself as well. The grandparents wanted to take her in but her uncle asked to do it and promised they could have her during the holidays. She loves her uncle as if it was her father and they have a very close relationship.

We are called to the living room, the staff took about one hour to prepare the games. It is explained to us that there are inside and outside games. Everyone must participate in all of the games, however, we are a team with our roommates, so we are allowed to choose which games to do depending on our skills. I quickly tell her I am more analytical than sporty and she laughs saying she is the exact opposite. We decided she would play the outside games and me the inside ones.

We tell the voice our decision and our names are entered into a computer program that is meant to make sure everyone plays all the games. I start with Chess against RM, then monopoly with Gi and Ari, and finally trivial pursuit with Saem and RM again.

RM destroyed me at Chess, he won in 10 minutes and I am not bad at it at all, I mean I think this is the first time I lose in over 10 years. I won monopoly which was great but easy and RM beat everyone at trivial pursuit. I didn't do as well as I wanted or expected but I am okay with that.

We all move outside to see that they had finished their part of the games and were waiting for us at the outside sofa area. There is a whiteboard next to it and a message on it. Once you are done with the individual games it is time for the last one, a team game. Please wipe this message out of the board and enjoy Pictionary.

We had a lot of fun but lost count of our points. The game kept going and going and after we had no more options we evolved to guess that movie where we wrote a bunch of movies on a piece of paper and had to make someone guess what they were through gestures. We had fun and the voice allowed us that.
