I woke to a ton of instagram notifications. I barely slept as my phone kept on buzzing all night. 

''How peaceful it was back at my previous school.'' I said sighing heavily. 

As I opened instagram, I was utterly shocked to see schoolmates posting videos of me with that ridiculously short uniform. To make things worse, the video went viral. I'm pretty sure students from other classes and schools saw it too. How embarrassing!!!

As I run downstairs, I grabbed my sneakers and geography notes. My dad said we didn't have to catch fish today either as we made a big catch two days ago. ''Jayda,'' my brother throws a stone at me from the kitchen to catch my attention. ''You are not going anywhere till you eat something for breakfast.'' He said in sign language. 

''I can't, I'm late for school.''

He then rushes to door and blocks it.

''Alright alright, I'll eat something along the way." I said while grabbing two apples.

I hugged my brother goodbye and left for school.

I cycled like crazy again as class has already started 15 minutes ago.

I arrived at school and ran to my class finding out that Gabriel has been in my sit since class started. I went over to him and said

''Excuse me but umm that is my seat'' I muttered unimpressed. 

 He raises an eyebrow at me and says

''I don't see your name on it darling.'' 

''I might change my mind and give you back your seat if you tell me why the hell you've been ignoring me yesterday, after all I helped you from being a laughing stock, didn't I??''

''You should be thanking me in return"

I laughed and said 

''You helping me, nah I think it's the other way around. Because of you, everyone was staring at me, they even posted embarrassing clips of me on Instagram. So now let me ask you this again, should I be thanking you?''

He went silent and it became awkward. He then said while chuckling

''It's not my fault people kept staring at you, besides you should've looked in the mirror before exiting the toilet.''

I thought about it and what he stated was kind of true, I'll admit that.

I was the type of girl who would apologize for everything so I listened to my heart and apologized for being rude to him.

''I'm sorry if I have hurt your feelings and thank you for helping me yesterday."

''Good girl.'' he said proudly.

Wait, did he just call me a good girl?? Eww that's beyond disgusting. I want to unhear that part so badly. 

''I apologized and thanked you but that doesn't man I'll let you have it your way, okay?!''

''Whatever, I won the conversation, stay pressed.'' He said walking back to his seat.

Aaaargh!! Why do I have to go through this all the time.

It was arts class and teacher told us to pair up. But she then announced that she will be choosing the pair for latecomers. God I wished I woke up earlier. She then paired me with Gabriel. Gabriel!!

Why him?? All I wanted was to enjoy art class and to be paired up with Lila...
