Chapter 5

14th October 2018.
Las Vegas; United States.
"Hello, Rachel speaking. How may I help you?" spoke a girl dressed in nice dress. "I'm Lucy! Thank God you didn't change your number!" spoke the voice from the other side of phone. "OMG am I dreaming? Lucy!? Seriously?" exclaimed Rachel, "I'm currently living in Las Vegas. Where are you? I've something to tell you!" hurriedly said Lucy from the other side of phone. "Come to Sunset Lodge I'm there" said Rachel and ended the call. She then dialled Hazel's number. "Hello? What happened Rachel? Suddenly call?" asked Hazel. "Can you come to my lodge? Lucy says something important has to be discussed. I thought to inform you," Rachel said to Hazel. "OMG Lucy? Ofc I'm coming right away" Hazel said before ending the call.

Soon the 3 of them met up at Sunset Lodge. "Oh hey, Umm excuse me?" Lucy said as she was confused to see another woman with Rachel. "Oh hey Lucy! YOU FORGOT me!? I'm Hazel!" Hazel squealed. "Oh sorry you have a HUGE glow up lol" said Lucy sitting beside them. "So what is it Lucy? Are u pregnant? Oh my God!!" Rachel said tensing up. "Aish Rachel you never change, stop overthinking. I'm NOT pregnant!" said Lucy almost yelling. "Calm down Lucy. Say what's the real matter" said Hazel trying to avoid a fight.
"So basically I've been getting this letters for past few days. So I tried to get rid of them by changing my living place. But somehow the sender finds me out. Lastly I thought it'd be good to seek your help." When Lucy finished, Rachel gave her a water bottle to calm herself. "I have Fredrik's number. We should contact him right away" suggested Hazel. "Yeah that'd be better" Rachel added. "So call him and tell him to meet up here. He should be in LA now right?" Lucy said in one breath. Hazel contacted Fredrik. He picked up right away. "Hello? Hazel?" Came the voice from the other side. "Where are you now? Can you come to Las Vegas? If you can please bring Jefferson too" was all Hazel said before hearing "I'm currently on a company trip to Las Vegas luckily. Why?" said Fredrik. "We'll be waiting for you. When you arrive meet at Sunset Lodge" said Hazel. "Yeah I planned to stay there for the trip. But I don't think I can contact Jefferson. I heard he changed his number so I don't have the new one" everyone sighed. "I've to hang up bye. Meet you there" and he ended the call. They tried to contact Jefferson by the number Rachel had but all in vain. "Why did he even change his number?" scoffed Lucy. They tried a lot to find and contact Jefferson but couldn't. They didn't know how to let him know about Lucy's situation.
