"So I guess everyone is already here?" questioned Fredrik followed by everyone's nod. "What about we go to his 'old' house first?" suggested Hazel. She finger quoted the word 'old' because they were not sure if Jefferson changed his house or not. "So let's pray to meet Jefferson asap!" Fredrik said before they set off.

"We're finally here! The house is repainted I think?!"exclaimed Lucy. "Lucy! We are here for some important work and not for thinking if the house was repainted or not!"said Rachel, playfully glaring at Lucy. "Okay, okay. Let's press the bell or maybe knock the door?" asked Hazel, trying to stop the silly argument. 'DING' the sound of the bell went off when Fredrik pressed it. 2 minutes passed but no response. 'DING' he again tried. No response. 5 minutes.....10 minutes..... They turned to return when the door opened making a creaking sound. They turned back to face the door and the person who opened it. But their expression changed from excited to confused? "Umm...Who do you all need?"was the question from the person holding the door knob from the inside meaning HE was utterly confused too. "Is Mr. Jefferson home?"Fredrik asked. "Tch." The boy holding the door rolled his eyes. Sassy. "There's lots of 'Mr. Jefferson' in California, which one are you meaning?" the boy asked. "Mr. Jefferson Whitman." Fredrik replied shortly. His pride was hurt that a little boy in his teens talked like that to him. He shrugged off the feeling as the boy answered. "Oh. Are you my brother's visitors? Come in." The boy fully opened the door for them to come in. "Make yourselves comfortable" he said pointing at the HUGE sofa. No, nothing is changed other than the outside colour. "Let me introduce myself. I'm Jefferson's little brother Jeffrey. I should go call brother. And also please don't be scared" Jeffrey giggled before going upstairs. Scared? From what? The look at eachother in confusion. But they didn't have to wait longer when a giant Husky ran down the stairs and started barking at them. "Scarlett! They are my guests!" a shout from the upstairs came down which surprisingly calmed down the dog. The dog quietly sat beside the chair which was placed opposite of the sofa. The voice was very much unmistakable. After some moment Jefferson came down fixing his shirt. "Oh! Seems like my childhood gang came up at my place. What a luck" he said happily and sat down on the chair and started patting Scarlett's head. No sooner, Jeffrey came with snacks and tea and put it on the table infront of them. "Enjoy yourselves." Jefferson said pointing at the snacks. "Oh I forgot to introduce you to my brother. He's Jeffrey Bentick. My cousin actually but I prefer him calling my brother" he finished, smiling. No. They didn't know that Jefferson had any type of siblings. Not even a cousin. Since when did he become so secretive? They didn't know. Ah! They almost forgot about what they came to talk about. But before they started, Rachel said "Your taste is still the same Jeff. You still are using these old-fashioned things? Damn you!". "Stop complaining about my taste and speak yourself" Jefferson said crossing his arms. They eyed Jeffrey. Jefferson got he clue and told his 'brother' to go to his room. Rachel bent and put her arms on her legs, supporting herself. Lucy took a deep breath and told about her whole situation, letters, threats and all. Jefferson just nodded. "So why did y'all came to me?" Jefferson asked. "Jeff! It's a critical condition of one of our closest friends and all you say is why we came to you?!" Rachel's voice became hyped up. "Calm down, Calm down" said Hazel holding Rachel's hand. "I think we should all help Lucy" said Jefferson. "Goddamnit Jeff, minutes ago you asked why we came and now you are willing to help us? W.O.W" said Rachel sarcastically. "Let's start investigating about this..." but before he could continue, Hazel said "But will police take all this seriously?" "...on our own" finished Fredrik. They all looked at him. Yes. He was serious. He looked up from the ground to them. He waited for their approval. Soon after each of them progressed it in their mind, they nodded signing an invisible agreement. So the real drama starts now-To be continued
