The 5 of them stood up from their seats. "Jeffrey!" Jefferson called his brother and he came there just after some minutes. "We are going to an important work. Take care of the house and Scarlett. And if you become hungry before I come back, then please don't try to cook and burn down the place. You can simply order from In-N-Out or McDonald's okay?" finished Jefferson. "Okay sir! Noted" Jeffrey said in a formal way. And then everyone got out as Jeffrey locked the door behind them.
"So where do we start?" asked Jefferson. "Let's start from Adam's house as he was the one who got those first" answered Fredrik. The whole group nodded in agreement. "But isn't the house already sealed by the police?" questioned Hazel. "Yeah but let's see how much we can do!" Fredrik replied instantly.

"It's been a really long time since we came to his house" Lucy said followed by a shaky sigh. "Don't tear up Lucy! We gotta be strong." Hazel tried cheering her up. "No Hazel, maybe heavens wanted us to finally be together. That's why I'm getting this letters. Maybe they are sent by God to tell me that I'm gonna meet the love of my life" Lucy said flashing them a broken smile. "Hey we should start finding some clues to enter the house before sunset" said Jefferson, trying to prevent all of them tearing up. "Yeah Jeff's right! We should be finding clues to get inside instead of standing here and crying!" exclaimed Rachel. Lucy nodded and wiped off the remaining tears and headed towards the house. "So as we can see the front door is pretty tightly locked, we will be unable to break the lock. And hence we only have one option and that is to climb the backyard walls" Fredrik said in one breath. They all glanced at each other and started walking towards the back of the house which was surprisingly less sealed than the front. All of them helped each other to climb the medium height walls and land in the backyard of the house. "Let's start finding if there's any way inside the house" said Hazel, earning nods from her 4 friends. They took out there gloves not wanting to dirty there hands. 5 of them scattered in the pretty big backyard and started walking through the mess of trees. Half of the trees were dead but the fallen leaves were everywhere. Rachel and Jefferson started tearing off the roots of some unknown creepers which were grown on the benches and walls. Lucy started to clean the leaves which were scattered all over the place. Hazel helped Lucy to clean and Fredrik too to find if there was any sign of opening the doors and windows. After an hour or two, the place was looking pretty impressive. The mess was cleaned and all but they still couldn't find a way to enter the house. The sun was going to set anytime soon as it was starting to grow dark. "Pile up the leaves just incase we can't enter the house then we have to light a fire" said Fredrik in a commanding voice. The three started piling up the leaves to make it look big enough for a whole night fire. Hazel took out the torch and started roaming it through the walls at the back while Fredrik inspected the front walls. Hazel stopped at a certain place were the creepers were sticking up rather unusually than the other creepers on the walls. Curosity killed the cat. She squinted her eyes as she stepped towards the wall and started inspecting it thoroughly. Something's different in the creepers here. The other creepers were not placed all neatly whereas the creepers on this certain place on the wall were placed neatly. Her eyebrows furrowed as she touched the creepers. They were not real! Her eyes widened as she brightened the torch light just to see a small ring like thing hanging on the wall. She held the torch in one hand and tried pulling the ring by the other. But neither she could open the ring nor she could hold the hunter torch in one hand. "Y'all I found something unexpected! Come fast!" Hazel shouted making the other 4 run towards her direction. "Here help me pull the ring" Hazel pointed at the rusty ring. "Hazel. It's not time to play around pulling rings" Fredrik said sternly. "I think we should try because maybe there's something. I don't think Zel's unusual feeling about this should be ignored!" exclaimed Rachel. "Yeah but when did my name become 'Zel'?" asked Hazel giving Rachel a questioning look. Rachel just shrugged and they started pulling the ring. "OMG! OMG! I'M SURE I FELT THIS WALL MOVE!" screamed Lucy while the others covered their ears so that they don't become deaf. "It's okay but there's no need to scream" Fredrik said still covering his ears by his hands. "I'm sorry for getting hyped up too much...hehe" Lucy smiled sheepishly. They continued pulling the ring till the wall creaked open making them gasp in shock. "So this ain't a wall but a door?" asked Jefferson. "Yeah let's go inside!" Fredrik said earning a squeal from Lucy. "Is it still the Lucy who was crying her eyes out some minutes ago?" Rachel said getting playfully smacked by Lucy. "Woah hold up-" Jefferson's eyes widen at the sight of a whole damn room. The others followed up. "We will be in need of the leaves as there's no electricity here and thus there's neither heat nor light" Fredrik said and the others went out to bring the leaves. After they came back, they closed the door and turned on their torches just to find a line of stairs going upwards. "I think this is a secret basement thingy" said Jefferson as everyone agreed. "As the sun is already set, let's light the fire and cook dinner" suggested Lucy. By 'cooking dinner', she meant boiling water to make instant coffee and instant noodles nothing more. They started taking out noodles, coffee, sleeping bags and the things they needed for the rest of the night. Dinner took more time than they expected. It was nine at night so they planned on sleeping that time. Slowly they closed their eyes, drifting into the land of dreams with hopes of untying the mysterious knots of their friend's death and threats. To be continued
