Chapter 2

I started to cry even more. I was still in Khan’s arms he was slowly leaning back pulling me with him and onto my pillow. I continued to cry and Khan was rubbing my back, Jaggar and Eva were sitting on the floor still. I cried myself to sleep.

I woke up a few hours later still in Khan’s arms Eva and Jaggar asleep on my floor. i looked up at the sleep Khan only to realize that I ached all over. I reached over to grab my aleve only to let out a low strain of curse words.

“What? What’s wrong?” Khan asked asked sitting straight up.

“You let me sleep. Right after I ran.” I said softly.

“I’m sorry. You were crying and fell asleep and Eva said to just let you be. So I did.” He said honestly.

“It’s fine. Can you give me my phone and that bottle of aleve?” I asked. He gave them to me . I took two pills to ease the pain. Then punched in the number I had memorized.

“Hello?” Hailey answered sounding asleep.

“Hey. I’m sorry. Did I wake you up? I can call back later.” I said to her.

“Oh! Hey Chelsea. No, it’s fine. What’s up?” She asked. I choked up again and Khan grabbed my hand and started rubbing circles on it.

“Darrius wants to get full custody of Little D.” I said and this time the tears didn’t fall.

“Oh! What are you going to do?” She asked.

“Well first thing in the morning I am going to call his parents and see if they will let D come live with me. If so I am on the first flight back home and bringing him back with me. And since today is your last day of school you can come back with me.” I said. We continued to talk. After a little bit we said goodbye and hung up.

I looked at the time. It is 5:30 A.M. and I was still in Khan’s arms. He was smiling down at me. I got up and went into my bathroom I changed out of my sweat pants and put on shorts. I slipped off my sweatshirt. I walked out of the bathroom. Khan was still sitting on my bed.

“I’m going to go run. I will be back in time to make breakfast.” I said as I put on my socks and shoes. I grabbed my IPod and phone and ran outside. I ran a total of ten miles. When I got back home I went upstairs to take a shower only to find Khan wrapped in my blankets sleeping. I smiled. I took a quick shower. Then put on some white denim shorts with a purple rebel spirit shirt. To top off my out fit I had on a purple scarf. When I emerged from the bathroom Khan was sitting up smiling. I smiled back and walked over to him.

“You ready for some breakfast?” I asked

“Yeah! I want to see how good of a cutie like you can be.” He said as he got off my bed. I blushed as we walked down stairs. We got into the kitchen and everyone was already in there talking.

“How are you doing Chels?” Isabella asked.

“Good.” i said with a smile.

“Oh, cut the crap Chelsea Jo. We are not 13 anymore.” Jordan said.

“Darrius want to get full custody of Little D.” I said as I picked up my phone. “I need to call his parents to see if they will let D come live with me.” I continued with a small smile.

After twenty minutes of talking they finally are going to let Little D live with me. I thanked them and hung up. Then called my mom. She said she was going to get his stuff all packed and ready for me on Friday. Then I called Hailey, and told her the news.
