Escape to Cali

Chapter 8

"Hey buddy. I missed you." Darrius said to Little D. He came and him a hug. He looked like he was going to give me one until I moved closer to Khan.

"Mommy is taking me to a place that makes her happy. Uncle Jag is there already. I can't wait. We are leaving today. Mommy says you're too busy to come and that you could have no where to go." D said to his Dad. Darrius frowned at me.

"Is that so. Well I think you should stay here with me. What do you think? Do you want to stay with your cool Dad? Or go with you lame Mother and her new screw toy?" Darrius said as I sunk closer to Khan.

"I'm going with Mommy. I like her better. She has always helped me. What is a screw toy?" D said. I couldn't help but smile. He was taking my side. He wanted to come live with me.

"Well then, you have fun with you mom. I just wanted to make sure that's what you wanted to do. Goodbye D. I'll miss you and I love you." Darrius said as he walked out of the restaurant. He even looked sad. My son was coming to live with me and his father isn't making a big scene about it. That made me smile even more.

We talked a lot as we were waiting. Soon our food came and we started eating. I couldn't help but take a piece of Khan's sausage. Everyone laughed as he just watched me eat it with him mouth open.

"That hit the spot. I should have ordered some; but it is always fun to take other people's food." I said smiling. Khan chuckled and took one of my strawberries. We finished and we still had a hour and a half before we needed to head back to the airport. We decided to go to the mall. We roamed the mall for a while. I suggested we get back to the airport early because I wanted to get back to Cali and was tired of walking around.

On the way back I called the girls to tell them what happened.They suggested that when we get back we go to the beach and I agreed.

The plane ride back felt really short. Jaggar picked us all up from the airport. As soon as D saw him he took off running to him. Jaggar gave him a big hug. We left the airport. As soon as we got home I showed the girls their room. Then I took D to my room and we got ready for the beach. I decided to put on my bikini that matched the one this girls had. Our's were all different color. Mine was blue/green, Madi's was green, Haley's was black, Eva's was purple, Isabella's was pink, Jordan's was blue, Katara's was orange, and Kayla's was red. I slipped on my denim colored dressed that had flowers on it over my bikini. I put D in is spiderman swimming trunks and we went down stairs. I met up with the girls and it ends up we are where the bikini that matches. We all couldn't help but laugh. Jaggar took D out to the ocean. I slipped off my flip-flops and was getting ready to pull off my dress when Khan wrapped his arms around me.

"When do I get to see you in your swimming suit?" He asked. He turned me round so I was facing him. I could see his eyes sparkle with joy. I smiled.

"Well if you wouldn't have interrupted me you would be seeing it right now. So you better let me take off my dress so you can see." I said then wiggled out of his hold. I stripped out of my dress. He could see my bikini. It was blue/green that had a thicker over the shoulder on one side. I had ruffles that went around it and followed the strap. The ruffles was also around the top of the bottoms. It also looked like it had a piece right in front of it that was cut so it was in little strips. That was on both the top and bottom.

"Wow. You look great." Khan said. He had a full blown smile.

"Thanks." I muttered. I blushed then matched his smile.

"So when are we going on this date?" He asked me. I turned around and started running towards the water.

"I don't know." I called over my shoulder before I hit the water.
