It was about 2 weeks since I moved to this new school in New Jeresy.
I had gotten 2 friends, Archie and Zion and they more or less filled me in on the in and outs of the school.
Who to avoid and what not.
It kid of felt like I was in a teen age 2000's movie.
And to finish it off came that one girl.
Her names zouïa. -Pronounced zoy• ya-. Pretty perfect to me.
"She's from France and transferred 3 years ago. But you could barely tell her American accents on point" Archie said as we sat on the lunch tables, watching as she laughed with her group of friends.
"She's so humble too. She was labels the most unproblematic popular person in the school" Zion gauked.
I raised my eyebrow at him.
"I mean she's super hot, but seriously?" I laughed.
They both nodded serious looks on there face making my smile drop.
"Just...iif shes nice to you dont think you're special" Archie shrugged putting his OJ carton in the bin.
I looked back at zouïa. She fiddled with one of her braids as she listened to the sound from headphone her friend placed on her ear.
I sighed as the bell rang for the next class.
I had art which wasn't too bad but it just dragged on for ages.
My group and I walked to the halls saying our goodbyes as we made our stops.
I sat down on the stool placing the arts book on the table waiting as the class filled.
More students came in then usual making me question.
Well that's until she walked in.
God. Just. God.
There's no word to describe this girl and the aura she has.
The 10 or so new students stood at the front lining up as the teacher told them to.
"Okay everyone"
"As I said last lesson we are going to be doing muse art. So we have 10 volunteers to be the inspiration for your next piece of art"
"Now this is going to be set over a month so go ahead and get to know your partner and put your soul into your piece"
"You are free to draw, digitalise, photograph or videograph as long as you are able to explain the meaning behind etc"
To make it far miss decided on an old fashion 'paper out of hat' type of thing. I just hope I get a good partner, preferably zouïa though.
It was now her turn to pick out. She grabbed the paper unfolding it and smiling.
Her eyes scanned the row of students getting to me stopping and smiling. My heart dropped and my fists clenched.
But it plummeted when she broke contact then fixing her glazed on the person next to me.
cameron skeels. he was the bad boy, minus the bad. hes just dangerously intimidating. i was quite surprised to find him in this class after how archie and zion descripted him.
the rest of the students picked out the names and we started the project. i got paired with his guy called tyler. he told me he was a model and stuff so it would be best if we did photography.
on the otherhand zouïa was standing behind cameron her hands caressing his jaw, as he explained what they were going to be doing.
"earth to loverboy" tyler sassed sarcastically.
"sorry" i mumbled still disappointed about the miscommunication.
"it's alright ive been through this thousands of times. Look, her and cameron have been dating before she even enter the gates to this shit hole of an education system. i mean you cute and all but they..." he chuckled. "baby they go way back, zouïa's the only girl cameron will even show interest in, try speaking to him and its like talking to A HUNKY BRICK WALL"
tyler shouted directly at him. and the couples eyes shifted to us.
zouïa smiled widely and camerons lips tilted upwards slighlty and he looked to zouïa for her reaction.
"its an inside joke" tyler made sure to inform me before going back to our work.
i mean its a bummer but a girl like that just cant be single. i only wish i could fill that spot of being her significant other.
