"What's this?" I ask as I came across a green velvet box. I was originally looking for my shirt she stole but the material caught me full attention.
"What's, what?" She smiled looking up from her phone.
I pulled the box onto the bed.
"She wasn't like other girls. She kept me on my toes". "The love she gave was true. nothing like these other girls"
"where do you wanna go?"
"you tell me"
"what about a movie? a resturant? party? what do you want?!"
she gave me a bored look walking away. i grabbed her hand sighing.
she really is making me work for it.
"she used to tell me wildest stories and when you think it was ending she would say"

"she held my hand like a kid. clinging to it like it was her safe space,ha ha ha ha ahhhh, ya dig" i laughed

"Her hands used to travel down my back as we layed on her bed. She was my safe space"

"And I asked herrr" the singer beside him spaced

Vinnie's eyes lifted up on his feet to the table. It flowed lightly as the aura of her shone like a million stars. She smiled and waved, he shock of his daze and she disappeared.
She once sat in that seat, but it was now neglected and empty, the memories of the past filling his mind as the tears fell down his cheeks. The audience of family members clapped and her brother ran up to him, ingulfing him in a hug as he cried silently.
The pink ribbon dropped onto the floor and Vinnies mind clouded.
If only she won that's battle....
