honestly, no one really remembered who was the one that came up with the idea but the three teenagers already found themselves standing in front of the abandoned mansion with an excited look on their faces."what the hell are we waiting for, lets go" riki laughed as he took a rock, throwing it at a window to create an entry for them. "this is going to be fun" he smirked turning around to see his friends looking at him in shock.
"c'mon pussies, get inside" he rolled his eyes as he gripped onto the edge of the window before hopping through and finally entered the mansion, yujin following behind with the help of heeseung who entered last.
the three had decided on exploring the three floors separately and if they found anything interesting they'd call the rest to meet up. yujin had taken the first floor while riki the second and heeseung the third.
beginning her exploration, yujin roamed around what seemed to be a living room, it was nice and spacious. though nothing caught her eye much, she proceeded to take pictures for her other friends.
"oh shit" she yelled out as she had accidentally opened a secret door underneath the stairs. earlier, yujin was only trying to take a picture of herself when she leaned against the wall, pressing a little too hard with her back before she fell inside the hidden room.
the room was a bit bigger than a portable bathroom but if was enough to store things like boxes and other stuff.
Inside the little room, yujin found a box full of crystals, little notes, and glass spheres inside. Taking a glass sphere in her hand to look at it out of curiosity, she began to feel heat radiating from the ball and she had accidentally dropped it when the burn got unbearable. "what the- "
Yujin gawked in bewilderment at her hand, it was now a bright red color. Sniffing the air, yujin could smell something burning and she looked down at her feet where the bizarre glass sphere had shattered, finding that there was smoke coming out of it. "how is that even possible" she whispered under her breath, appalled at the unusual sight.
"what the hell happened here?" just in time, heeseung and riki had walked in on her mess. "are you trying to commit arson? put that out!" he let out, flustered at the scene as he couldn't comprehend what was going on.
"no! i'm not trying to do anything! I was looking at these fucking dragon ball looking glass things and one burned me and I dropped it, and this just happen- you have to believe me!" she grunted, pulling at her hair in frustration.
yujin was just as flustered as heeseung was, she felt butterflies in the pit of her stomach and not the good kind.
"i've been telling you guys, we're gonna get out of here either without one of us or with a curse on all of us- " riki cracked up, receiving smacks from his friends. "stop saying that!" heeseung scolded the youngest, giving him another smack in the back of his head.
"he might be right though" a voice echoed throughout the small room.
The three teenagers felt shivers as they looked around, the hairs on their arms rising when they came to the realization that no one else was in the room besides them. "who's there?" yujin spoke up as she held heeseung's and niki's hands. "what do you want?!"
"let's play a game" the voice responded.
"why should we? For all we know, you could kill us!" riki shouted into the air, holding yujin's trembling hand tightly.
"you're making the wrong questions, nishimura. You three invaded my home, broke one of my most prized possessions and now you're even getting bold, you better watch it."
