after school, he waited outside for you, checking his watch millions of times. you were two minutes late and he was beginning to worry.

as he was about to go back inside the building to look for you, he saw you coming out and his pout was quickly replaced by a wide smiled as he ran to you, his arm intertwining with yours, startling you.

"what do you think you're doing!" you gasped, covering your mouth in shock from what just happened. you tried pushing him off, but he didn't budge as he only held on to your arm tighter, a pout appearing on his lips again as he whined.

"why are you pushing me away? isn't this what boyfriend and girlfriend's do?" he tilted his head, trying to pull you closer to hug you but you finally gathered enough strength to push him off.

"yeah, but we're not even dating! I don't like you!" you scoffed, staring at him with cold eyes.

"but you took my note, that means you love me! and since we love each other then we are girlfriend and boyfriend" he concluded with a wide smile as he pulled you into a hug, shoving your head into his chest as he began patting your head.

pushing him away, you resisted the urge to slap him, but you decided against it and just turned on your heel, making a run for it.

this was a big mistake as he began running after you, the biggest smile on his face as he tried to catch up to you.

jungwon shook his head, pressing the razor against his forearm before creating the first long cut. "you can't leave me, I need you. look, I'm hurt now." he sobbed as he pressed the object again onto his skin, making another cut, and then another followed by more.

"look at how much blood there is y/n, if you're not with me then I might as well be dead" he cried, kneeling down on the floor and you took the chance to take the sharp razor from him before bringing the boy into your arms.

"y-you'll be okay" you sobbed, your hands trembling as you reached for your phone to call an ambulance. as you began talking to operator, you kept patting jungwon's head who had nestled his face in your neck, breathing heavily.

he wasn't breathing heavily because he was bleeding. absolutely not. he was afraid that he'll lose you forever. it was truly ironic how the person who brought him calmness was also the person who caused him to be on edge, afraid that you'll try to leave him like just now.

"please don't leave me, y/n. I love you. promise me that you won't leave" he held onto you tightly, burying his head deeper into your neck.

"i-.. I promise I won't leave you"

"-and he kept saying that you weren't all that so I got pissed because to me you are all that so I thought maybe I should just knock some sense into him.." he finished his rambling, throwing some glances your way to see if you were still mad.

feeling your heart ache at this, you finally sighed, bringing him in for a hug. "when will there be a day where I don't have to be called in to the nurse's office or the main office, hmm?" you mumbled near his ear and he frowned.

"the day people stop trying to treat you like shit" he replied, tightening his arms around your waist as he pulled you closer.

"but no one is treating me like shit, I'm doing good.." you sighed, "and even if people treat me like shit, please don't get involved, I don't want to see you keep getting scolded and hurt like when you got a bruise from fighting with that new kid taehyun"
