𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

🎃 𝖩𝖺𝗒 | "𝖼𝖺𝗇𝖽𝗒"

" how about we go trick or treating?" hyemi suggested with excitement but when her boyfriend shook his head with an aloof expression her smile turned upside down.

today was halloween and hyemi wanted nothing more than to go out with friends and her boyfriend and have fun.

she already had plans of going to a party but since jay wasn't much of a party person, she decided to stay with him and keep him company.

"what do you mean no? pleasee~" she begged, hugging his side and looking up at him with big doe eyes.

"i dont want to, mimi. why don't we just stay home. just because its halloween we're not obligated to go outside" he tried to reason.

"but i want to! it's no fun staying inside" hyemi whined.

jay only pressed his lips together before turning his head back to the tv.

that was the last straw. "you're such a bad boyfriend" she muttered under her breath before standing up, going upstairs to change for that party she had planned to go to earlier.

though she had a lot of love for jay in her heart, she had been warned by many people that he just wasn't her type. but who the hell were they to tell her that they wouldn't last, right? she just had to try and make it work.

but even when she tried, it was still a little hard since she was more cuddly and warm and jay was less open with his feelings, some even called him cold and emotionless.

"I'm leaving but it's not like you care, right?" she said lowly as she grabbed her keys before finally leaving.

the party was a few minutes from her house so she called for a cab to get there faster. she desperately needed something to make her forget about the situation for a few minutes and her friends would be enough.

as she got there, hyemi spent about an hour and a half ranting to her friends. the exact opposite of what she had planned to do.

"do i regret dating him? hell no. i love him so much" she cried, not caring if someone looked at her being a crying mess because her boyfriend didn't want to go trick or treating with her.

usually she'd get a few responses from her friends but everyone seemed so quiet for some reason. looking up, she made eye contact with her boyfriend.

standing up, she now decided that she in fact did need a drink. only making it to two steps, she got pulled back by jay so she decided to go the other way.

if it wasn't one it was the other.

"where are you going?" he asked the stubborn hard-headed girl, pulling her close to himself.

"im going home! you're so mean, you can't even spend time with your girlfriend and then you go dragging me away from my friends when im trying to not feel the guilt of leaving you at home alone to spend a holiday by yourself!" she cried in his arms, punching him lightly as he held her tightly against his chest.

sighing, jay picked her body up bridal style, taking her back to his car and drove back home.

"i hate you so much, park jongseong!" she cried, getting off the car in a hurry as soon as she got home before slamming the car door close and making her way back inside.

going through her purse to get her keys, her eyesight was blurry from the tears pooling in her eyes. "can't find stupid keys" she grumbled under breath before moving back when jay stepped forward to open the door with his own key.

as soon as the door opened, hyemi stepped inside their dark and cold home, turning on the lights she gasped at the decoration that adorned her home now.

spiderweb's in each corner of the living room, a large blanket on the couch, a plastic pumpkin filled to the brim with candy, a stack of funny shaped cookies on the table and a cute little ghost sticker (👻) on the wall.

"what is this?"

"my apology for not taking you trick or treating"

turning around, the waterworks began again as hyemi jumped into her boyfriend's arms, burying her head in his neck and jay happily wrapped his arms around her waist securely before walking to the couch to sit down with her in his lap.

"im sorry for saying you were a bad boyfriend. if anyone is a bad person, its me. you're the best, i love you so much"

"i wouldn't change a single thing about you though" Jay's confession made hyemi's heart flutter and she shyly slapped his arm.

sitting down next to him, hyemi began looking through the multiple choices for movies. "let's watch the nightmare before christmas!" she let out excitedly as she clicked on the movie before taking a lollipop from the green pumpkin.

"do you want some candy?" hyemi asked and he shook his head, a frown on his lips. she shrugged before licking her strawberry lollipop, unaware of how her boyfriend was glancing at her lips.

jay usually wasn't a fan of sweet flavors as he preferred savory but seeing how the candy coated his girlfriends plump lips made it very tempting for him.

"you know what? i do want some" he muttered as he pulled her close and kissed her lips, savoring the sweet strawberry flavor that lingered in her mouth.

pulling away from her hesitantly, warmth spread through his cheeks, aodrning his face with a soft pink color. giving her one last peck on the lips, he pulled back and quickly faced the tv.

"it tastes good"
